Congratulations on the harvest completed. Everything seemed to go well except yields. This video looks like a good yielding variety to stay with. Need rain to help push the wheat before ground freezes. Great video. We're dry in SOUTH JERSEY, 110 days in my area without rain. We had forest fire 2 miles from my house. About 300 acres burned.
Glad to hear. Have a good fall tillage season! I know how it feels having a rainstorm on the way when you're cuttin' beans or shellin' corn. I remember taking a look the next day on a bean field I finished cuttin the night before. Water setting all over the place! Whew...that was a close one. The notoriously wet fall of 1986.
Every time I watch you starting up that beeper brings back memories. Just like my 8900 was. Sadly it burnt from a turbo line breaking. I believe my grain head was 22.5’ I always had to add to the backbone when I bought a new one, 20’ was all I could get but I may be mistaken.
Congrats on finishing harvest! It's always a nice feeling getting the combining done. The corn yields were really down here in southern MN too. Just to much rain in may and june.
At least you got everything done in the same year you planted it this time. Could be worse, BTO next to me is out cutting 3 ft tall corn with a draper head right now.
Always a great feeling to wrap things up. At least you didn't have to battle last years ugly ground conditions. Now you can breathe a little easier and chip away at machinery cleanup and planning for next season. Those of us that farm have to be eternal optimists so we don't go crazy with the situations we're dealt in challenging years.
Well, it's deer season here & as usual, tag filled this morning at first light with a dandy corn-fed 12 point. Honey Garlic sausage time I guess. Too wet to shell anything for the next couple days so might as well get this season's hog & beef butchering done while I'm at it. Looks like liver is going to be on the menu again for a bit.
That's farmin not every year is the same. Hoping next year will turn prices around and get some work for ag manufacturing, it's pretty dismal and needs a kick in pants. Hate to see plants leaving or going bust.
Thanks for taking us along, im sure you are relieved harvest is over. Its been so dry in my area most guys were done corn and beans last week
Congrats on finishing up harvest.

Always enjoy your videos Ethan, even though I rarely comment.

Another season done! Crazy how fast they go. Congrats on another successful harvest 🙂
Glad you had a safe harvest Ethan no major break downs now just have a safe ground working with the chisel plow
No tracks needed and corn was standing. Something to be thankful for.
Goodjob Ethan not getting stuck in mud is a good thing 😊😊
I think you had a good year not alot of breakdowns and decent harvest and all your hard work great video!
So glad this year was not a struggle getting your crops off.
At least you got everything done in the same year you planted it this time. Could be worse, BTO next to me is out cutting 3 ft tall corn with a draper head right now.
Congrats on finishing up harvest Ethan!
Another year in the books. Good job Ethan. Crazy dogs.

Good deal on being done. I'm glad things went relatively smooth. Take care and I'll see you later.
Great feeling and this was a quick harvest for most this year.
Congratulations on the end of harvest😊
Excellent year and thanks much for sharing.
Hey great not even Thanksgiving yet. And you didn't even need SCUBA gear this year.
Not bad buddy be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska
No major breakdowns. Always a plus. Yields might not have been what you expected. Still a win. Thanks for taking us along Ethan. Take care. Fred.
I'm impressed by your ground speed. My dad used to have an old 4400 Deere and it was doing good to go half that speed
The 8700 is a step up in capacity compared to a JD 4400. Prolly closer to a 6600
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Great that you got harvest completed Ethan
Awesome season

Good to be done🎉
Good to be done Farm Boy
Watch it not stop raining until half way through spring and you end up having to do more chisel plowing next year in the spring than this year.
We finished up on the same day.
Well heck u didn't even get to put the tracks on
No blue grain cart action (that I saw) either.
Good video
Would you mind sharing what corn variety that was ?
Man you must have nightmares about deer
👍👏👏
Good deal it’s over! Now you have time to work on other stuff cause you know it’s never really over
That's farmin not every year is the same. Hoping next year will turn prices around and get some work for ag manufacturing, it's pretty dismal and needs a kick in pants. Hate to see plants leaving or going bust.
Wow... a year later from playing in the mud
Ladder! Lol
