Purple Door Coffee

(‎January ‎6, ‎2025) I've always been a sucker for coffee shops and cafes, especially little unique and homey and not commercial, corporate with the "get 'em in and get 'em out" feeling. While coffee shops (aka coffee houses) have always been meant for a place to relax, study, meet up with friends and/or just socialize (hopefully the barista does not send a drink to a woman with a note to take off the lid if the guy talking to her is bothering her, or someone call the police on people of color waiting for friends), this one goes beyond that. Their mission - besides brewing up a cup of Joe, is to provide unhoused Denver teens and young adults with a pathway to job training and employment.
