As someone who plans to go to a bakery and pastry arts college I can tell you that red velvet cake was named as such due to the chemical reaction between the cocoa powder and buttermilk. This reaction creates a brown-pink kinda color. Nowadays we add a bunch of food dye to give it a true red color though. Chocolate cake has a higher amount of cocoa powder and is usually made with coffee to enhance the chocolate flavor. Thank you for reading!
Yeah its choclately but also has a sour fruity note from mixing it with buttermilk or if you don't have that most use vinegar with regular milk. Which almost gives the vibes of ruby chocolate which is made in a similar process to express more sour fruity flavors of the chocolate.
I loved this, but there's this evil part of my brain that wished Morgan took a tablespoon from each coffee and combined them into one horrible cup, but I'm pretty sure 40 different flavors of coffee hitting the tongue all at once is enough overstimulation to kill a person so maybe it's for the best

As someone who really enjoys flavored coffee and drinks it all the time, I personally have found that most [if not all] of them should NOT be enjoyed black. The best way is to add creamer; either a vanilla/plain flavored creamer, or something that will, in theory, compliment the flavor of the coffee. Green Mountain Wild Blueberry is one of my favorites, but it NEEDS creamer to be enjoyable, otherwise it's honestly very acidic and unpleasant to drink. That being said, there are definitely some flavors that just...do not translate well no matter what. (You can add granulated sugar to sweeten but it needs to have milk or cream or half&half or _something_ added or it is entirely too acrid and undrinkable.)

I have that box (or one similar from Amazon, even the mystery flavour) and they honestly taste so much better with cream and sugar. To really bring out any flavour you need to do that.
That's a good point; when I try flavored coffees such as maple or amaretto, I feel like I need to add a bit more sugar than I usually do, because these flavors are usually associated with something sweet, so in a straight coffee it just tastes kinda weird
I find nut flavoured coffees to be the best flavoured coffee options (hazelnut, hazelnut cinnamon, pecan toffee, etc). They don't always taste authentic but many taste good (at least to me)
I assume this is from 2 rivers? I saw this and might try some of these. For anyone out there, they also have things like this for hot cocoa, tea, cider, cappuccinos specifically, and decaf coffee. You can usually buy a 40 pack, 72 pack, or a holiday 12 pack. All of their options work with a keurig

Raspberry Zinger is made by Celestial Seasons. You can buy it at most grocery stores.
It would've been awesome if they were ranked in the comment section or in the description of the video!
Hang on… it might take a little bit but I’ll totally do that, very good idea
I love your videos! They always make my day. I just recently got my first sage coffee machine
Ur voice and speaking is so good...like I could listen to u all day...
Celestial Seasonings makes the Raspberry Zinger. Its one of my favorites.
I would just like to see you review regular coffee pods because every other coffee channel seems to just turn their noses up and sneer at Keuriq machines. I've never had a great cup out of one, but for some reason it amuses me to brew with one and watch it make it's weird noises.
woa this is the earliest i’ve been to a mdc upload !! love ur content morgan!!!
Bones Coffee makes some legitimately good, very interesting, coffees.
I recommend Army of Dark Chocolate and Electric Unicorn.
YES. Both of those are great. They also do a lot of really good seasonal flavors.
Loved this episode! Have you ever tried Bones Coffee company Coffee. They have a variety of different flavors and classic ones as well.
Speaking of a Refractometer...
When I was in the Navy, I worked on fighter jets. I used a time domain refractometer.
Had no Idea it could be used with coffee. 😀😀😀
I love how you slowly get zoomies :D did you drink all of them to the bottom (the drinkable ones) or did you just tossed them out? It could be interesting to mix all of them into one cup
Celestial Seasonings still makes Raspberry Zinger. gotta say, and this is as a usually tea person (yeah I don't know why I'm here either, but I find your enthusiasm for coffee really fun), it is pretty good
so happy this video showed up on my home page, brb away to binge watch all your videos
"I would absolutely drink s'more of this."
Excellent. Well done.
I have to side with "choconut" because chocolate is awesome and I am mentally unstable.
And I side with Morgan on the fact that coconut does not belong in coffee EVER.

The Law & Order cell-clanking sound made this episode. Well done. (Also, to me every "flavoured" coffee tastes the same.)
I would love for you to try out Bones Coffee. It is also a flavored coffee company. I enjoy some of their coffee, but its a guilty pleasure
Raspberry zinger tea is one of my favorites! Celestial seasonings still makes it!
That slide was smoooooth
I’m so amused by the very aggressive sound effect that plays when your rating pops up on the screen. Also, “I need to run around or take a nap.” I feel that…deeply. This video is very funny.
Can you please review and rank popular coffee pods! I’m a college student with a keurig and want to know your expert opinion on a not so great brewing method 😂
Next time you do something like that, please collect all the remains and rank the ultimate-weird-coffee-cocktail in the end. Also, I love your cups
Raspberry zinger is definitely still a tea you can buy today!
