It was at Salina, Kansas's Memorial Hall on 7-14-65 where I saw Ronnie and the other rock and roll acts who toured with The Dick Clark Caravan Of Stars Summer Tour 1965. So listening to the video brings back memories for me when i was a teenage girl. Thanks for sharing the video with me.
Anytime I hear Ronnie Dove it takes me back to childhood memories growing up in Baltimore my neighbors brother was his drummer they would practice there at the house so it was like a free concert for the neighborhood growing up in the 60s it was wonderful.
Remember it well when he had all his hits. My g/fs took me to one of his concerts even got to meet him personally. Still have his music in my collection. Great artist singing great songs. Thanks for posting

I had all of his records in the 60,s I never will forget them they were 45,s they were blue and they had that big DIAMOND record label on them and I bought them at WOOLWORTH.

A long overdue comment....circa 1975, being handed my "walking papers," I walked myself to Uncle Sam. LMO sent me packing, so I went into the USAF. All turned out good for the both of us. The Ron Dove song, came up later as a "remembering us" song. Heartbreak is a strange thing...comes and goes...GPM-53.
He has a beautiful voice, but he is a tenor and only tenor, Elvis could sing Tenor all the way down to the top of the base range. His voice was one of a kind..
Good Music! Today's music is all about sex. The great thing is I don't know of any of Ronnie's Songs that brings up sex or even the phrase "Love Making or Making Love". These great songs will never die. The public is sick and tired of hearing about sex.

Saw Ronnie perform in Windsor, Ontario nightclub, around 1966. He was great and he did autographs between sets, it was a Super performance.
