Honestly I consider myself super lucky... still have to see if I can refill them (all signs from the manufacturer point to no) and keep this stove purring for another 40 years!
According the the label on the canister itself, "absolutely not". According to the forums of Coleman collectors I've come across online, "sure!"... Currently I'm in the absolutely not camp, but who knows if that changes should I get more comfortable with the process.
