One day I'm gonna pick it up and it'll stick, but that just hasn't come yet. I feel like an in game tutorial and a way to learn about the game internally without opening wiki tabs and following youtube tutorials would go a long way to making it more accessible to newcomers. It's all very daunting for a new player and so far the learning curve was definitely something you need insane determination or a friend to get through. The other way to address garbage dumps is to have a sprites for "a small pile of items" and "a giant heap of items" and just use those when the number of items in a time is over a certain limit.

The "tiles as they are" sounds like a huge problem honestly. On a 4k monitor those are going to be absolutely tiny. Even on my 2560p monitor i'd hate to think how that would look. So many people have high-dpi screens nowadays. If you don't fix that before release, that's going to get you a whole bunch of negative steam "feedback". Even if you don't support dynamic zooming, you're going to need to adjust them for screen DPI before release. I would say this is a MUST. @@flotnar2512 That's fine. I'm just saying that a lot of people are switching to high dpi monitors. If you buy a new mid-range monitor it's likely 2560p or 4k. Basically the game should be equally playable on both your laptop and a modern 4k screen. From the sounds of it, its currently not.
