Amazon has several good choices of kits. To even include light bars for the back of your front seats.

I'm a bit confused these days picking the best one. So turns out the MYLR is cheaper than the M3LR 2024. Now, I'm thinking to purchase used or preowned M3LR(2022- 2023 available for approx. $340-450) or new MYLR, FSD equipped. What should i go with?
Considering all the technical upgrades n factors please suggest me the best.
My concerns: mostly 2 of us gonna drive, FSD, good range, good room n space. Open for both options. Also suggest the best places or sites to buy from in California.

I just took delivery of a 2024 Model Y, Ultra Red, Standard Range (RWD). I can confirm it DOES have heated seats in front and back, and heated steering wheel. It only has 7 speakers and no sub, however I believe the tweeters in the A pillar and the speakers next to the side mirrors are still there but just not activated. I will be install an aftermarket wire harness to see if they can be activated.
Thanks for sharing. I have a rwd standard model on order in stealth gray. And it’s virtually impossible to get details on how the car is equipped. Disappointed they downgraded the stereo but glad to hear it still has heated seats and wheel! Hopefully I have mine in a couple of weeks. Congrats on yours and enjoy! The red is gorgeous.

How does it sound with just the 7 speakers?
@@stngry0836 I would give it a "just ok". My wife thinks it's fine, but having had the full speakers in my previous model Y I notice quite a difference with no sub and no speakers in the "A" pillars near your ears. If you mostly listen to talk/podcasts, etc it may be perfectly fine.
They need to use up all the old headlights from the model 3 pre refresh.

Got my 2024 Model Y RWD in Quicksilver here in switzerland. Didnt wanna wait till maybe next year for a new one, and right now its 0% interest rate. Had to go for it!
you mean you got the old model, but ordered in 2024? In Belgium, Tesla told me they expect the new model end of the year maybe begin 2025???
@@strompie i mean it is the actually the newest model right now, it also says in the paper produced in 2024. there is also a video that shows that even the 2024 model has changes to the 2023 model. I think we cant say its the old one because the new model y that will come out maybe 2025 isnt even approved. Maybe it will even not come out till end of 2025. who knows… but didnt wanna wait and right now my tesla is awesome, everything perfect and nothing to complain about:) i will drive it for 3-4 years and till then there will be a even newer one wilth bigger changes that will be worth the wait.

Wish they’d offer some EAP or FSD incentives to sell more. If they’d just replace the seats with cooled option I’d probably trade in and upgrade since rgb and rear screen can be obtained after market fairly easily

This is the pretty much exactly what I am picking up next week except I have the white seats. A red MYLR in Ultra red. I can’t wait! It is $20k cheaper with all of the current incentives than it was a year ago.

I’m thinking of leasing the Tesla Miodel Y RWD 5dr Auto (2023) that’s what’s in description , is this classed as the 2024 model. I really would like ambient lighting but that’s not due to come until the Jupiter model is released ? . Is the model I’m going for good ? I can’t decide if to go for it . I test drove it and loved it . But going electric I’m a bit worried

It’s just the first time , going electric. Just in general really. Charging , range etc. But I think I’ve decided now to go electric but just a matter of deciding now if to go for current Y.
I get it! There's a learning curve, for sure. When I buy my Tesla (I pretty sure I'm going to wait for the Juniper), it will be my third different make of electric car. I've owned electric cars since 2012. I'll never go back to gas, if I can help it. Good luck to you! @@YepYep74

Is the Wolfbox really a level 2 charger? Or is it just an interface between the the home electric supply & the car? It the Charger, Rectifier, Transformer, Conditioner really in the car? If so, why does every car have one to drive around adding weight & thus consuming power?
The WOLFBOX Level 2 charger includes a transformer and rectifier. Its operating principle involves supplying power to the On-Board Charger (OBC) in the vehicle, and then the automotive Battery Management System (BMS) directs the charger to provide power to the battery.
@@RobertRosenfeld1 So where is the Charger? On the wall or in the car? What current does the wallbox supply? What voltage & Amperage? Here the Multi Plug is A.C. & comms. The Twin Plug at bottom is D.C. at whatever the charger is rated at in Kw! Be careful, This could be "Shared." So, why have an A.C. charger in the car at all? Like the leads you take it everywhere with ou but you don't need it!

Why would you get a charger for a Tesla that requires you to get an adapter to use on a Tesla?

I picked up a '23 MYP at a fantastic price at the end of December; best car I ever bought--exceeded every expectation. It did come with projection headlights and HW4, a Fremont car if I understand the VIN correctly. Great build quality, no panel gaps, no squeaks or rattles; a very solid, well built car, every bit as good in fit & finish as the '08 Acura TL Type-S I had (which was an awesome car, perhaps the best TL Acura ever made).
The current implementation of the vision-based park assist is not that bad (I'm still on 11.whatever); it works well enough to prevent curb rash in drive-thru restaurant lanes and helps me not be an a$$hat when parking (easy to park nicely centered between the painted lines which show up well) which is good enough for me.
I test drove the Model Y and I didn't like it. I was amazed that I didn't like the Y and went for the Model 3. I have never liked sedans but I do now.
I had the opposite experience. Test drove the new 3 and the y in Austin and cancelled my order for the 3 right afterwards and changed to the y. I think the majority of the changes are underwhelming in the 3. Both of them feel like cheap interiors, but 1 the y interior has improved since it first came on the market and 2 the feeling of space is much more premium.
The park assist system is the bare minimum you could use being a weird black and white representation of the world. However, it’s like a dog standing on its hind legs. It’s amazing it can do it with vision, even if it can’t do it very well. Give me a Colour hi res 360 camera with USS any day of the week
Thanks for another great video. I have been debating between a SR or LR MY. If we got the LFP battery in the SR Y I'd probably go with that, but I think I'd rather have longer range, AWD and a better stereo if I'm going to have the regular batteries in either model.
And with Tesla's pricing so fluid I was on the fence if I should pounce on a MY LR before the end of Feb or not. Part of me wants to wait a little longer so I can put more down on it and lower my monthly payment even more, but I also don't want to shoot myself in the foot and they never get this affordable again this year. The decision is stressing me out! LOL!

I just picked up my model Y on February 23rd. I love it and your right the options that are missing are tolerable because the price was excellent. I live in NJ and they way the sales tax in our state. Dealer gave $2500 pulse $7500 and I got the car in a week. In 2019 I went on a waiting list for the first model Ys. But I backed out after noticing that at the time there were no chargers near me. Now there are 3 charging near me. Also the Y was having fit and finish issues. So I bought a 2020 CRV Hybrid. It would be nice to have some the old features like stopping and accelerating but I can live with out them. I have 3 months of fullautopiolet and it fun to play with but I don't completely trust it.. I seen a number of your youtube videos and I've learned a lot.

😊. The interior has changed some from that Red Model Y you showed….ie, the wood wraps around the two front doors. So what other changes, um, if you have a 2020-March 2021 you have a door over your phone charger. And as a Current Model Y owner, WAIT until Juniper comes out. Test drive the Model 3 Highland and it’s SO much better than my 2020 Model 3. I can’t wait to upgrade!

I'm renewing my Model Y lease and finding the pricing compelling considering there's no solid word on a refresh coming this year. Yes, they say nothing is coming this year but they've gone back on those comments before. 😀
Hi. We just leased the MYLR Blue is there an option to extend the lease at the end. Tesla was the only EV with incentives and Money Factor where we could get a $486 lease for 3 yrs 15k/yr
Yes, I have the option to extend the lease month to month for at most six months. If I choose to extend I lose the incentives that are available now. If you leased for 12,000 miles per year then they give you an extra 1,000 miles for each month you extend it.

My opinion not facts it makes to much sense for Tesla to drop the juniper this year, prices has been lower for a year now and now they want to go up March 1 on every model, just shows me that they have a surprise in store this year.

I bought a new stealth grey long range model Y last few weeks only 40k out of the door, then matte ppf and now my car looks amazing. Love it :D
FYI: to get that price, I bought the car at 44k in the inventory + all fees + taxes, then applied 7k5$ tax credits to get it at 40k$

That wasn’t 2024 Tesla model Y in the beginning. New one is ultra red. The one in the beginning is clearly the red multi coat
