I'm with ya, man; there is no end to my amazement that I can design/buy a 3D file, print that thing from grey goo, then paint it (poorly) in a day. Livin the dream! 😁
Love the mini, he looks great. With the green cape, red shirt, white hair, and beard I kinda get a "crash landed Santa Clause" vibe from him. Like his sled went down over the archipelago one christmas eve; and now he is searching for the magical artifacts needed to get back to the North Pole.
"Captain Pike" (groans from the audience... That said, you are thinking way too much Andy! I had forgotten about putting together Spitfires and Hurricanes but then painting them without an undercoat... I think I just gave myself PTSD from that! 🤪
Ive been secretly building a few teams for Frostgrave, Silver Bayonet, and Deth Wizards to 3d print from a few different makers. God I LOVE miniature agnostic games; these 3d printing companies are making sculpts a thousand times nicer than ones you build..PLUS - no building! No superglue on my fingers - and when it comes to a mini I buy in store for $45 to $75, Im nervous to paint it and mess it up...if I 3d print it I'll go crazy and try new stuff, because if I dont like it, I'll simply reprint it.....plus I feel like you giving Captain Pike a Red Shirt...that's just mean sir. We all know he dies but did you have to make it that obvious?
Oh i love Frostgrave miniatures, their plastic kits are simple but solid

That sounds like a fun game, and the nameplate is so cool and really helps!
A very nice mini you created Andy and he came out really well.
I do know. Also I’m thrilled you’re doing a Gaunts Ghost army as that’s one of my dream projects I want to do in the future

Now I need to make some beaches and jungles so my Jungle/beach goblins can ambush dodgy scum and villainy .
Oh hell yeah
Such a cool service! Like you said crazy to think that model may never be created again! Cheers
Awesome pirate!
Thank you!
Those plastic sets are fantastic as well - would be good to see you paint up a couple of those.
I will for sure, just not sure if it will be in a video or not yet!
Is your Captain Pike going to bodly go where no one has gone before? ^^
Let's hope not, that didn't end well 🤣😜
Nice design!
Thanks!
👍
I’ve heard of Frostgrave via Peachy, this new setting looks fun!
Right? such a nice break from some of the grimdark games out there!

You might want to check out Port Royal, a pirate skirmish game.
