I’d be interested in seeing how you’d do a Vermithor or Silverwing colour scheme. From what little you could see of silverwing flying over kings landing it looked more like a non metallic silver to me 🤷♂️
Really cool print and great painting job. Only thing that bothers me a little is the lines where the wings attach to the body (but that could be masked quite easily).
Beautiful work. I have this dragon, the dragon that goes with it, and the base that goes with them printed out. I need to get them painted. Is there any reason why you didn't fill the joins between the wings, the body and the tail, and the body?
got a touch of sun there my dude, guessing you are irish from the accent so you probably had a full 3 minutes of sun! Meant as good fun, no offence meant. Thanks for all your videos, looking forward to getting a 3d printer soon, will have to go through all your videos again to decide
So the HeyGears printer is 1500$ and the dragon is professionally made by LootStudios. Why then are there still enormous scars and bumps from the supports on the model? We can see it on its right arm and on its chest-plates and belly. Would smaller supports just fail? Shouldn't the model then come in more parts to make it printable with smaller supports that don't leave marks? Or did you support the model yourself and used extra-thick supports?
@@Onk3lM0 to be honest I used the pre-supports from loot studios. I’d be curious now to use the hey gears software and print it again. I’m so impressed by the hey gears files.
@@MediocreHobbies Then would you agree that LootStudios didn't really do a good job? After all one would assume they test-print their products so they must know their supports are too thick. If printing with thinner supports isn't functional then Loot Studios should split the mini into smaller parts. This makes me not want to purchase their products, sadly even though the designs are gorgeous.
All it would take is a little bit more time before printing. I'm away this week so had to prerecord content last week so wasn't really able to make adjustments before hitting print!
Yup, off the deep end and a total loon! Its nice to have company and see a kindred spirit with his own channel! Keep up the good work.
Hahaha thanks man, appreciate the company too 😄
Random dragons all day lol keep them coming
3d printing still blows my mind 😅 great paint job!
I love her! 😍 that print is so crisp as well. Noice work ❤
Excellent mini
Laura on point on the captions! Dragon pro nouns lol! More dragons Andy please 👍🏼

I would love to see you tackle each of the chromatic dragons from DnD
Looks slick and the ceiling suspended from wire for the big one !
I will never complain about a dragon 🐉. And I think she turned out very good.
Very similar colour palette to my pet Rankins Dragon (Mini Beardy) Korg.

Yeah I just didn’t have time but it’s a very easy fix for sure
very nice.
That is just great and yes- it does look like I would imagine a real dragon.
A question- how long did it take you? :)
Caraxes needs to be done!

Just didn't have time, had to prerecord stuff last week as I'm away this week! It's easily done though!
I'm in favor of more dragons haha
Always love me a dragon, I need my pointy ears to come back to the old world to give me an excuse to paint one.
Gorgeous. Do you have any files that might make a good chaos dragon / lord?
Though the game of thrones dragons are not really dragons but wyverns.. love that this model corrects that 😂
cool
👍
Dragons in GoT universe are Wyverns because they dont have upper front legs/arms...those are attached to their wings
Yep, and we still all call them dragons anyway 😄
Ooh you liar - Dorn Yellow's a layer paint!!! 😊
Nice job - bet you wish you'd filled the gaps though?
