Cooking scallops isn't actually that hard, just sear both sides until their both nicely coloured. Cooking alot of scallops in a highly pressured environment however, is a different story
So his daughters would never have boy friends as no one would pass the scallops test

I'm guessing if things were different he might have ended up working for Gordon as a head chef for one of his restaurants.
Gordon only ribs on him because Gordon is a very competitive person and Jamie is the competition with an empire that rivals his own.

Just made this one. Served it with a different salad though and seared the lamb in a pan before transferring to oven as I don't have a grill plate. It was excellent. Love Gordon's cooking videos, I am an immensely better cook for having watched them.

That's typically the kind of marinade we use really often in the French Reunion island. It smells amazing and is a real flavor bomb especially with smoked sausages and fresh tomatoes !

ive been watching your videos and going trough your journeys for quite some time now and the thing i most admire is our energy to do all that stuff. Keep that up as long as you can!! Also i wonder, you often present mediteran aswell as indian and french dishes, but whats with the heavier eastern european dishes like germanys "sauerkraut" and similar. I think there are huge possibilities coming from that area which i would love to see the "Ramsay" twist on. Thank you Mr. Ramsey Try as I might my cooking skills leave a lot to be desired. Lamb is a rare thing here in Southern Arizona so I searched and found this video. Made the marinade and they will sit overnight. Delicious lamb chops tomorrow, hopefully. God bless.
