Salmon Fishing from a Jetty! (Catch and Cook)
We’ve been targeting Salmon for quite some time now with no luck. However, today is the day that our wait will finally be over. In this week’s video, we head to one of our favorite fishing spots here in the Pacific Northwest. Little did we know that we will finally catch our long awaited Salmon. How do you fish those salmon lures? Do you let it hit the bottom before reeling
You want to cast these as far as you can and reel in enough so that the spinner spins as you retrieve. The spin, color and vibration are what attract the fish.

I’ve wanted to try geoduck so bad! But also, the horse clam after being cooked reminded me of a little elephant trunk 😭 so watching it cut into made me sad, lol 🥴 I still want to try one though, I hear they’re all delicious! Really enjoyed your video, you seem like such nice people. 😊

I live in washington and we don’t have a limit ever cause there a problem fish that were planted here in the 1800s 95% of us don’t eat them we just catch hundreds of them to use for crab and sturgeon bait as well as bait for other fish when you find a person that does eat them they normally smoke them

We went to Beacon Rock State Park. Mid june to early July are the best times.
Seems like people of the east coast especially the northeast eat the stomachs of the clams, but they purge them first.
We'd like to see how others prep them. Not the best part.

I like the roe The fish is not that tasty 👅 Someone brought it into church for everyone to take Lots of bones I would chop up and use for bait to catch salmon 🍣

Thanks for sharing, salmon are tough. My friend took me on his boat about 10 times and I only got one. He got two
If you aren’t keeping shad, do not handle them like that. Use a net and keep them in the water. They are very delicate fish. Also, they kept pulling the hook out of their mouths. Shad have delicate mouths that rip through easily.
