This LP was my introduction to the great Rickles, back in '68. I had it memorized, I listened to it so much. Still do. And for over 50 years this great man has brought countless smiles, laughs, and tears to my soul. And I know I'm not the only person to say that. He was a master, and there will NEVER be another.

It’s going to be a while before great comedians can apply their craft. Though as of late, I have been noticing more & more counterculture popping up! Which is a wonderful thing! Because we Americans can not be afraid to tell a joke. While hundreds of Ukrainian & Russian kids (18 & older) are killing each other! Yet, a talented comedian can’t make a joke about gender, race, sexuality because it might offend someone, or some political movement etc etc. The great 👍 Don Rickles, God bless him!

To be honest, I didn't care for him much in this vid. I really liked him on Dean Martin roasts, Tonight Show, and other engagements, but he was old then, tamer, and I think perfected his art better. The bottom line is, he made me laugh.

I recently started listening to comedy albums and I was in the car listening to an old Woody Allen standup album and laughing away and I figured I'd listen to a don rickles one cause everyone says he's so funny. I turned on this record and turned it right off after about three minutes.
