    Simple and effective. Only modification I made was to cut a slot in the bottom of the bucket rather than of having an outlet pipe.

    I just made this and it works very good with a 1000watt fog machine.Then piped for 2 1000watt fog machines for fun and it works very good!

    it looks great but how'd you build it??????????????????

    Thank you so much for this fantastic idea. Tried using a cooler to make one and your litter box plans worked so much better! Wish I could post a photo here but an amazing difference with a 400-watt basic fogger and basic Home Depot fog juice. So creepy for my zombie pit and graveyard. Thank you!

    This is the best idea I've seen so far.

    youll get more volume if you leave a 1 inch gap between the fogger nozzle and the inlet pipe or drill holes thru the sides of the pipe. we figured that one out a long time ago when we reverse engineered the vortex. the real vortex also uses 90 degree angles which means the inlet is on one side and the outlet isn't straight across it's on the side 90 degrees form the inlet fwiw. not sure if it makes a huge difference. I used a 5 gallon bucket and trash can chiller this season. the vortex design was fun to make though. I have old vids of tests and successess. spent too much time on it 10yrs ago but it was fun ; I used a chauvet 1200 1,180W and froggy's fluid with the ghostofhalloween chiller that fogged up the neighborhood ; no matter what the size and design it's fun to chill fog ^v^

    Well done. I just subscribed and I saw the instructions on how to construct the fog chiller. Since making this video and fog chiller have you made any updates/improvements to this design. Have you made any recent videos with this fog chiller in action?

    always leave a 2 to3 '' space between the chiller input and the fog machine

    Is that regular ice

  • @arthurmaglio6276
    @arthurmaglio6276 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Just a tip physics 101 pull the fogger away from the input tube a little bit let the air hit the fog. This is what creates the fog it needs fresh air. try that out your fog will be even thicker

    Never thought about empty vat litter bucket... Just happen to have one. Would have liked to see the inside tho.

    • @hdrjunkie

      most likly its just a tee that connects the three PVC pipes, the Inlet, outlet and the one that goes up to the top of the can / bucket / ice container.

  • @aguilaluis100
    @aguilaluis100 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The pipe is in the form of a "T"?

  • @LoreleiEdwards
    @LoreleiEdwards 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What size PVC pipe are you using?

  • @Ezduztube
    @Ezduztube 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    You need space between the fog machine and pipe. The fog needs to hit air before going into the chiller.

    What do you do when your ice begins to melt? I would assume water would start to come out where the fog does after so long.

    • @TeeDiddlyDee
      @TeeDiddlyDee  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The water will collect at the bottom and I just dump it every time I put a new batch of ice in.

    • @ReadiSketti
      @ReadiSketti 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      How often do you need to dump the water? I want to use this idea for an hour to hour and a half concert. Will the water spill out if I wait till the end of the show? TIA :)

  • @Ezduztube
    @Ezduztube 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    You are supposed to have space between the intake and the fog machine. Your machine is very low in watts not putting out too much fog.

    When the cool fog is coming out, is there enough 'pressure' that it could go up an additional pipe, say a foot or two high?

      Sounds like your filters are probably blocking it from coming through
      in which you can do one of two things:
      *Turn off your filters and then let me know, so I can
      resend the confirmation link *Or simply just sign up with a different email
      address
      If you choose to simply use another email address, click
      the link below:

      Please let me know if you have any other questions as the fog chiller tutorial is definitely worth it!

    How much ice does this chiller hold?

    • @TeeDiddlyDee
      @TeeDiddlyDee  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Holds about 1/4 of a bag of ice...or you can use frozen water bottles instead of ice for even less of a mess!

    • @kifflom1
      @kifflom1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Tiffany Clarkson hey Ms. Clarkson i love foggers and i had one that like yours after a few seconds started to make a lot of noise. I fixed it by opening the fog juice container and looked at the nozzle to the tube that pumps the juice into the machine and i cleared the gunk off of it. I hope yours will work better and quieter if you try this. :)

      You can also freeze a bunch of water bottles and keep rotating the Throughout the night.

      Hey there,
      If you're having issues with signing in, please let me know as it's almost always one of two reasons:
      1) Your browser may be glitching and isn't opening up correctly. Try opening the log-in link in a different browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Etc.)...
      2) A confirmation email was sent out to you but your filters are probably blocking it from coming through, in which you can either turn your filters off or just sign up with a different email.
      Give it a try and if you're still having issues please let me know so I can fix it for you...it's usually pretty simple ;)
