Looks amazing! Instead of a pneumatic motor to rattle the lid, have you considered a wiper motor to slowly raise & lower it a bit?
I have! I'm also looking into car door lock motors!
How do you waterproof it?
Foam is waterproof already 😁

Hi! This is a fantastic build! Could you explain the difference between good fog and cheap fog? I've made my own fog juice for a few years and it doesn't get much cheaper than that.
Yes! Cheap fog = the crappy fog juice from Home Depot, good fog = Kool Fog or Fog Worx for low lying machines 😊
