Sydney, We have been enjoying your Antarctica blog. We picked it up on TH-cam because we are planning a similar Ponant cruise next year. We think your enthusiasm is intoxicating. We took a teenage niece on a Disney cruise one time, and she was upset, complaining, and bored much of the time. We had expected that she would be bubbly like you, but, alas, it was not to be. You make us smile just hearing you describe your experience, and we are waiting for more installments!

Thanks for making these videos. I'm suppose to be on the same boat for a 16 day Polynesian trip in 2023. I have never been on a boat that long before. Is it feasible? Kinda worried I will go crazy? I'm in my 30's.
Our cruise was 10 days long, and the longest cruise I have been on has been 14 days long. On Ponant, there were many events going on during the day. Every day there was tea time, stretching classes, and on some days a show in the theatre. However, there was definitely some time where we weren't doing anything. I would recommend bringing a book or something you enjoy that helps pass the time when there is nothing going on. I didn't bring a book or anything like that to keep me busy, and I never really got bored! Hope you have a great time on the ship!
