How long were you at shore to see the penguins? Did you get one land and one zodiac excursion per day?
HI Sydney , I haven't seen all your videos yet but will eventually. How many days was your trip? did it include South Georgia Island and/or Falkland island. I booked and paid my deposit for Ponant L'boreal for Jan 7, 2024 sailing. It is the Emblematic Antartica 10 nights and I am wondering if that would be long enough.
Mine did not go to South Georgia or the Falkland Islands. It should show the itinerary on the website.
I will be going on Ponant Le Boreal next year. Is the cabin better on the starboard (right side) or not? What month did you go? How many zodiacs are there? Does everyone get to go on the zodiac the same time? How many excursions per day?
The cabins are basically the same of both sides. I went in December. There were probably between 16-20 zodiacs, but I am not 100% sure. Half of the ship goes on the zodiac at once and then the other half. However, our sailing was not full so it may be different if the ship is at full capacity. There were 2 excursions per day. However, the can be canceled due to weather. It snowed almost every day when we were there, and only 1 excursion got canceled.
