I picked up a 19X about a month ago. I love this gun. Great shooter. I left it with my local gun store/range to have the slide milled for a red dot. They are installing a Holosun 508T on it. Should be ready in 10 days. Great video. I have also been thinking about picking up a 26 for those times when the 19X is just too big. No decision yet.
I know it wasn't available when you made this video, but the 19x MOS is a great gun. Excellent value at $680 for a threaded barrel, optic cut, and suppressor sights.
I went for the Glock 45, because it has the front cocking serrations, and it eliminates the lip on the front grip that prevents using Gen 5 magazines. Also, You can get the Glock 45 with non-MOS, MOS, and FACTORY MOS specifically for either the 509T, ACRO, or RMR.
Do you think 19X is still good if I just have average sized hands? I loved both of these but went with it because they both felt the same in terms of comfort but that tan color just kicks ass
The G45 does take all Gen mags, had slide serrations etc, but let’s admit it, the Peanut Butter is just cooler 😂. Own a 19 and 17 both Gen 5s but a 19x will be in the collection soon.

It's not that a Gen5 magazine won't fit the G19X. It's the GEN5 base plate. You replace the $2 base plate then the GEN5 magazine fits the G19X. I think folks should get and shoot whatever floats their boat. I just don't see the point of the 19X.
