FYI, in a settlement, no party admits ANY wrongdoing. It’s a term of every legal settlement. They’re making a big deal of that term but it’s boilerplate language. Of course the city is admitting wrongdoing-they’re settling🙄 Legally they admit the suit has merit and the city’s risk of losing at trial is significant. So they settle. In other words, the cop is dirty and they keep paying out because of him. And that’s because they can’t seem to fight the union whose sole purpose is to protect people like this psychopath with a badge. A good union picks and chooses its battles. You don’t die in every hill and you sure as shit don’t do it for a sleaze bag dirty cop like this, not if you want to maintain even a shred of legitimacy. Doesn't matter. Nothing still happens to these thugs. Look up Sgt. David Grieco of the NYPD. He's cost New Yorkers over a million dollars with lawsuits.
Imagine what good that money could've done for citizens. Instead cops are flushing taxpayer money lawsuit after lawsuit.
Everyone needs to call their state politicians and demand an end to qualified immunity.

10 X the next most complaints by any officer on the force. 85 in 12 years. Virtually every one making the same accusations. Video. He still gets promoted to Sgt, and even after nearly $1 million in payouts they still say "Alleged".

But what benefit does Kue give to law and order in that city? Does crime go down? What behavior does “tend” to reduce crime? I know this is weird thinking but I spent a year in the 25th Infantry in Vietnam. Lots of offensive operations. But little thought to defense. No protecting people being terrorized . Just a lot of chasing forces great at dodging and weaving. Kue is great at terrorizing. But would somebody be better at reducing crime? Also, what would $850,000.00 buy? 3 more cops? Would 3 more cops be more effective than Kue at “law enforcement”. Look, I know this is “non expert” rambling but can’t we get more effective people for these jobs?
