What an incredible adventure. Thank you for taking us along. Living vicariously through your videos is an amazing way to escape the pandemic. Best wishes from Canada.
WOW,what a journey in this Georgian town. I couldn’t help but seeing the fear on your faces and the lack of laughter and commentary whilst on that dreaded road. You are both very brave. A bit of an ordeal, however,in the end the experience would’ve been worthwhile. Thank you again for being part of your adventures.
My son and his girlfriend were cycling round the world until April 2020, across Europe,, Georgia and most of the ‘ stans, followed by South east Asia, Australia, New Zealand. and across to South America . Part way up Argentina they ground to a halt, but said that while countries extended hospitality beyond what you might expect in the UK, that Georgia was the best, friendliest and most hospitable of all!
I want to thank you both for this amazing and beautiful videos. Congratulations for your both. Congratulations amazing beautiful amazing amazing beautiful beautiful and blessed videos. Ahhhhhh!!! Congratulations
Marianne the amazing!!!! Hope Trudy is going to get some rest after this roller coaster ride. Really like your vlogs. Don't miss out on Vardzia and Borjomi while ur in Georgia. Love & respect from Bangladesh
The families would shelter in there during a war....the bottom ladder would be pulled up and one stayed in there. Small doors, windows and shooting holes so the enemy could not burst in easily.
It’s lovely how friendly the people are in Georgia. It was a country I hadn’t thought of visiting but it now seems a place that we should go….. thanks again for your videos with lots of great information and content 👍
"Just look at that bit of road there." *WHAT* road??!! It's gone!! 😱😱 Chris' turn to peer over the edge on the way down, it's only fair. 😉 The village set a new measure for rustic charm, though, so lovely. The sight of the bread and Camembert really set my mouth watering! So simple, so perfect. 🤤 ❤❤😎👍xx
YES !! I knew you would be happy with this driving !! and what road indeed ?! LOL The simple things certainly seem to be bringing us more and more joy ... and fresh bread and cheese ..... mmmmmmm 😉🌸. Love to the P family xx
Hi, Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍 Do you have an address or a link from this nice hotel you mentioned? We gonna visit Georgia this summer. Thanks 👋☺️
The inner-scooby-doo enthusiast in me says that if you were to pull a lamp/wood plank a secret passage would open up in those towers! 😂Looks like such a cool place to explore, almost out of a movie set!
Such a great tour thank you. We have been on similar roads in Nepal, real nerve jangling. The views from the top village were incredible, good idea to leave before the rain though. Really fascinating to see how the locals lived, such a long unbroken lineage his sense of belonging must be immense, lovely gents too. Thanks again, safe travels
Karadenizin bütün kıyı ülkeleri çok güzel doğaya sahip, güzel bir vlog olmuş, tekrar süper bir sürücü olduğu için, dağları taşları aştığı için Marianne'yi kutluyorum.👋👋👋👋
OMG!!! I thought you would be going down the other side rather than having to back the way you came! Marianne is definitely the MOST AMAZING driver. You deserve a GOLD MEDAL 🥇 What a wonderful adventure to look back on in days and years to come. We still talk about scary adventures we had in Turkey, ours were nothing compared with yours that’s for sure😀 Another great Video, just loving following you. Stay Safe. 🏴🏴🏴❤️
What a fabulous video people. Glad to see you survived the descent, and got to go to the tower museum. It looks like a really beautiful place to visit.
Great video,Svaneti is awesome Offering wine is a glimp of the fabuleus Georgian hospitaliy i had so much But you are right about the weather,i can change quick,i had snow in Kazbegi when on tour in August. My friends there where in panic because of that. Road was flooded away, but we saved 2 tourist who where hitchiking and take them to Tbilisi with us. Hope next year i will be there again
I was just thinking about how much I wanted to live in Mestia until you mentioned -30C....which meant absolutely nothing until I did the online converter, and it's -22F. And now I'm thinking that I'd rather be in the tropics! For sheer beauty, though, Georgia is hard to beat!
What more do you need in life than good bread and cheese? And as a bonus, amazing people and places, this is bliss (minus the horrid roads, but at least I think it felt even more of an achievement to enjoy all of that)
One more from Canada, but may i suggest plz dont drive on such road again. Once again, one of the best vlogs. What a video of this tower. This is amazing and very beautiful place too😍 Thanks a lot💞
Thanks for doing all the hard work and driving up there, I thought that village was spectacular and not often you get to see them original these days. Thanks for going to Georgia we were suppose to tour there last year catching the Touristic train from Turkey across and then Travelling around. Only got as far as Istanbul before we had to pull plug and fly home to Aussie due to COVID and world lockdown, so Georgia on our hit list still for when we can fly. We would have been leaving Turkey as you were arriving.
