    I have seen those Buick engines with Eaton M90. But with M62 it's new for me.

    How did you fuel it? These are fed from the back aren’t they? Thanks

      Yes, air inlet from the back. It was running on home made megasquirt 1

      @@madmodsgarage1179 so you use a throttle body? Any more photos or videos please?

      @@chrisTiFur76 it was plumbed like a turbo. Air filter - open inlet to supercharger, outlet to intercooler, from intercooler to engine's stock throttle body. And a biiig blow off valve before the throttle :P check facebook.com/madmodsgarage, there is an album with this car. Unfortunetely, this capri doesn't run any more, sold the engine (100% ok), built some other projects. I still have the chassis, but years went by, and it's slowly returning to mother earth ;P

      @@madmodsgarage1179 thanks, I’m seriously debating about doing mine found a m90 and also m112 locally

      @@chrisTiFur76 the setup was pushing the m62 hard AF. I was overspeeding it pretty badly... going bigger is very good idea, for a 3.5, the m90 should be enough, unless your answer to "how much boost are you going to run?" Is "YES" :P

    Hey bud.. how much power did the M62 give you?

    • @madmodsgarage1179
      @madmodsgarage1179  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no idea ;) made 190hp and 280Nm at the crank NA, felt like it at least had additional 100-150 Nm, probably more. The car did 15.9s 1/4 mile, after installing m62, loosing ~100kg and putting 255 semislicks on, it ran 13.5 ET (racing in Polish reality - no tracks, old airports with shitty surface)

      @@madmodsgarage1179 thanks.. do you remember what psi you were running. i have a 3.2 VR6 and i am not sure if the M62 is big enough.. Stock is 250hp NA I want about 300hp.

      ~8 psi

      Is th m62 good enough for a 3.2 mercede engine? Looking for around 8psi

      @@weneakhborzable should be just enough, but m90 would be better. I had to over rev the m62 with 3.5 L (~18krpm)
