@@chrisTiFur76 it was plumbed like a turbo. Air filter - open inlet to supercharger, outlet to intercooler, from intercooler to engine's stock throttle body. And a biiig blow off valve before the throttle :P check facebook.com/madmodsgarage, there is an album with this car. Unfortunetely, this capri doesn't run any more, sold the engine (100% ok), built some other projects. I still have the chassis, but years went by, and it's slowly returning to mother earth ;P

@@chrisTiFur76 the setup was pushing the m62 hard AF. I was overspeeding it pretty badly... going bigger is very good idea, for a 3.5, the m90 should be enough, unless your answer to "how much boost are you going to run?" Is "YES" :P

Kinda bolt on but not exactly. Right side engine mount (v6) is 100% bolt on, this gives You correct engine position to modify or fabricate left side (stock v6 doesnt fit engine block bolt pattern). 4.0 oil sump needs to be cut and welded to make room for granada subframe. Or you can use 2.9 sump, most bolt holes line up, but some not, and mounting flange is wider in some places, I think its much better to cut and weld 4.0 aluminium sump. Then You will probably get some hood clearance issues with stock intakce manifold. Plastic one is a little bit shorter, but still very close or slightly hitting the hood. Yes, type 9 gearbox and all v6 flywheels is 100% bolt on, but with torque of that engine and granada weight, I doubt it would last long...

​@@ghj1502custom adapters and flywheels. The car used to have mazda rx8 6speed gearbox, now it has a nissan cd009 from a 350z

Yeah, could be, I don't remember how loud they were in real life, this was couple years ago, not my car. Also, phone mics do this, extremely amplify high pitch noises under the hood/bonnet. Could have been all good in fact but can't tell for sure now. In EFI cars for example, all you hear in the vid is incjectors clicking :)

Mine sounds exactly like that with the tappets adjusted to what the Haynes manual says, Essex V6s don't run right with the tappets too tight it's better to leave them to factory settings or even a bit loose.

Po pierwsze nieoplacalne dla jednego nie jest nieoplacalne dla drugiego, a po drugie 2.8 bylo od zawsze w planach, zeby podmienic w przyszlosci za 2.3. I tak bedzie, graty na spokojnie sie zbierają, silnik zacznie byc kiedys budowany, tylko tu nie ma presji czasu, auto caly czas jezdzi i bardzo cieszy wlasciciela w obecnej konfiguracji :)

a fakt ze "nadaje sie" do jazdy na wprost to zasadniczo jak kazdy stary ford bez radykalnej przebudowy zawiasu, co poza tym nie dyskwalifikuje go z sensu posiadanie podniesionej mocy :)

I do custom fabrication so none of the cars I built had stock exhaust, but go ahead and try it, deleting back muffler will be easier. Just cut it off in a comfortable to work place, start the car. If it sounds rubbish You can always weld it back on
