    When I was in high school the debut qotsa album was nowhere to be found. It was over $100 bucks on ebay. Seriously. I would know, because I paid for it...ugh. If only I knew they would reissue it later. Hearing the original studio recording was so damn hard to find!!

      The song was released as DLC for the Guitar Hero games in 2011. Those games use the master tapes.

      That's honestly the case with a lot of music in the games these come from. There was a lot of tinkering done with the files by both labels/bands (sometimes forcing in bleeding to help make sure the total isolation stays valuable to them) and by Neversoft and Harmonix making their own mixes with the files to match game audio and probably converting files multiple times.
      Also honestly for this it could have something to do with how I made this video because I did the video file with Camtasia Studio without paying much attention lol. I'm pretty sure I still have the .ogg files if you want it to compare
