LavenderTowne You might not see this but I really need to know: how to you do the white outline around your art so fast? I do it manually and it takes forever and never looks even :(
I had a teacher who's cool, he would wear a spiderman mask one of the design and technology teachers made for him. And use a rope to fling across the classroom to intimate webs. He would also play the guitar when we where doing our work which was really nice and calming❤️
Me: Dude I really want your teacher cuz my teacher is an absolute *muffled voice My art teacher: Finally I found the button to make sure people don’t complain about me
My teacher gave me and my friends Naruto plushes at the end of 5th grade. Still have it in the back of my closet. He loved anime, recommended Mark Krilley, (Crilley? Krilly?) and chased us with rulers and sprayed us with water. He was more funny then the other teachers, and everybody respected him. He was the best.
*There's also a teacher where the teacher just keeps on lecturing but doesn't let you do any activity on that lesson* like gurl u talk for 50hrs about some steps and sh¡t then u don't even let us draw it?
I'm in 7th grade and my art teacher is the best I love her so much. One time it was the nicest day ever, and we were supposed to be working on a project due that day, but she set the due date back so that we could go outside and free draw. The catch was that you had to draw her something. I drew her leaning over a kid's shoulder with a wide smile and giving them encouragement. She hung it up on her wall and gave me a big hug. Like I said best art teacher EVER. She also has this somewhat announcer voice, so whenever she compliments you it makes you feel like the most special being in existence.
Used to have the really strict teacher. She ended up being my favorite teacher ever. She was always a really great teacher, and I love that she does not talk down to students. However, what ended up causing me to eat lunch in her classroom every day for two years.... was a sort of funky situation where she accidentally found out too much of what was going on in my life at the time, and she kind of took me under her wing. She is actually one of the best role models out of anyone I know. Unfortunately, she left the campus I am on to work at a different one (still the same school). The new art teacher seems to be the Bob Ross type, for sure! She is also really wonderful and I hope to get to know her better (although I promised myself that I will not have a panic attack in her classroom, because that is not the way I want to get to know someone.) Idk why I wrote this, because nobody needed to read this, but... oh well. Shoutout to the best teacher I have ever had!!!!
Imaginary Pluto yeah In middle school I had a similar experience, my teacher was very strict but was a good teacher and I did end up eating with her, not because of you reason rather because the art club would have special contests year round and so that we could get the projects done she would have us come to the art room at lunch and sometimes after school,
One of my art teachers said “Try to learn from your friends” I said I didn’t have many, she said “I know” But I think she said it as a joke, because she laughed afterwards and said sry after she saw the almost to tears look on my face
That dude is basically satan Teacher: aNImE iSn'T aRt! Me: You realize you insulted an immense art style which has an imprisoning amount of varieties, being present not only in illustrations but also in books and audiovisual entertainment?
That's the first and last teacher because a lot of anime art isn't precise with anatomy, it has a lot of misconceptions which may lead you to be stuck instead of going forward in your career.
Although there is a lot of godly anime artists, most people who try to be like them fall into the wrong path. You should learn the basics and fundamentals first before imitating a talented person. Watch sinix, he's great.
I practice all forms of art, but my favorite is cartooning. My anime improved after I got further in realism, but it lost it's charm to draw. Most people just want sexy or cute things. It shows how our culture has changed. Better or worse, it's not my call. Or yours. But my point is this: leave your comfort zone. You may find it actually helps your artwork improve. Learn real human anatomy and dynamic poses. I guarantee your characters will look more natural or fluid. Most art I see has stiff poses.
Katie Marigold I draw more cartoony drawings so when my art teacher sees what is in my journal ( when I finish early she lets me draw In class ) she tells me i should make a cartoon strip
@@samaraisnt Most likely. Since then I've gotten better at it, but at the same time, I don't have half of the patience required to make a full-on drawing that looks good. I can do quick sketches of semi-realistic things, but no anime still.
I'm in to realism arts. everyday I keep on looking at textures on walls dirt and all things around me to try to memorize and imitate it's texture. I've improved a little bit but I'm still going there.
My art teacher is like a grand aunt that probably killed a man but still loves you even when she's stern. She gave me a doughnut once when I hadn't eaten all day it was great. She really had helped me improve
mine is like that one aunt that nobody really knows how you're related and she just kinda pops in at dinner parties and just sasses everyone. she also gives us apples sometimes.
A couple of weeks ago my art teacher gave me a donut but it was like a minute before the bell rang and I just had to run out of there with it stuffed in my mouth, so he asked if I ate it as I was leaving and I just had to give a frantic "mMhMm"
Hmm... I've had a narcissist teacher. She always used her examples in class, and most of the time, students would do better than her. That was always funny.
I liked the art department at my secondary school. Their classrooms where always open for the art students during lunch and were quite, so I could go there to work on computing stuff (While not taking a single art related subject), And art teachers are sooo chill. I still can't draw good.
Wow, my art teacher is diffrent from all of them. She is laid back, she is cool with the students, she paints alot all the time, she gives acuall professional advice, she acually likes anime and she is an art rebel.
I do agree with your Maths/Science teacher since you need to focus on what your learning in that lesson (even if u dont want to) but i also don’t agree with them since they said it way too harsh. They should’ve have told you something like: “Wow thats rly good! I rly like it but i suggest doing the questions on the board first so you don’t need to do them later”
The Teacher who starts fixing your drawing and then they keep adding shit to it, they just like drawing wayyy too much and whenever they start, also when teaching, they can't stop drawing!!!
Maaike 뱁새 I had that teacher in middle school, but she only bothered the crap students (coincidentally these people didn't give a fuck). She did bother me at one point and I told her to not touch my art and let me figure it out myself and experiment with styles.
SylenDraws Actually they have a reason, they often hate anime because it has weird proportions from a real body. If you make realism it could improve your artwork immensly (anime etc) But I hate those ones that act batshit crazy when they see those pesky animus end mangos. Like calm down. ALSO IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE TEACHER, don't think that all teachers hate cartoons and anime Also there are more reasons. Another reason is that they coul think you could get farther in life, and some extreme teachers think anime isn't art or they just hate you.
+Mr.Weebster I keep hearing people say this, but IMO it's mostly BS. For one "anime" is not one style, it is a VAST array of styles. The anatomy in anime is usually the same as real life. In fact, the only difference really is the faces, and even that is varied.
4:18 Do I have to make the joke. The painfully, *painfully* obvious joke .... *WhAts uP FelLoW kIDs* Edit: I didn’t get notifications for any of the replies why are there so many?? (Also in hindsight this joke was kind of stupid lol) Also yeah I used to watch LaurenzSide for all the replies asking
My art teacher is a professional artist working with charcoal and pencil his friend works with Disney and he was there when he got the job, he honestly really cares about the students feelings about their own art constantly telling us to not be so hard on ourselves about our art, he has us do a lot of out of comfort zone art like drawings with our non dominant hand and trying to copy pieces by professionals, Ive only had four classes with him so far and I can't wait for the rest of the year. He's super sarcastic too it's unbelievable. "Oh yeah I tell students their art sucks all the time, they go running down the hall crying, jumping off roofs I have to stand down there with a net and call their parents" "you know what happened last time a kid laughed at someone's art in this class? I threw em' out the window, right ladies? *he was talking to the class above us who was in there finishing up their assignments* yeah straight through that window"
Damn. I only had one teacher in community college who told me not to be so hard on myself, and that was only when I outright called one of my paintings a failure (and for what I wanted to accomplish, it was). At university, they all gave me the good dig I deserved for being too sensitive. My boss on the other hand? He told me that we all hate our work but customers don't see the things we do. He'd give me critique, but only when there was downtime or if I asked. That helped my confidence a lot because even though I KNOW I can do better, people can still love my work despite its mediocrity. Imho, seeing yourself through others' eyes is the key to self-esteem and improvement. :)
Lavender towne: they propably consume paint Me: hey i do that! (Edit) thank you guys for blowing up this comment. This is honestly the most attention i have ever gotten.
While I took Art class in high school, and I had 3 teachers: 1) Visual Art teacher, who was kinda the "Bob Ross" type. She mostly let us do our thing, while sometimes giving remarks on how to use different materials and techniques. She did have a bit of a problem with students' tendencies to be precise and realistic. 2) Drawing and Sketching teacher, who was a mix of the "Strict" and "Dishevelled professional" types. He was so hard on us and it made my Art class experience so stressful, but he was also extremely helpful with his classes. 3) my Theoretical Art teacher, who was mostly the "cool" type. My second (and last year) of Art class was mostly her giving us assignments (that took a long ass time to finish) instead of tests, and we ended up learning third of the study material for finals by ourselves. I'm still surprised I've managed to pass with a decent grade
I remember throughout 1-5th Grade I had this one slightly old art teacher, and I remember a few times we were aloud to do some free things. The one I remember the most is where we were making clay figures and she said we could make whatever we wanted. I was making a "Voodoo doll" which most of the time don't actually have noses other than buttons, and mine wasn't SUPPOSED to have a nose. Considering she said we could paint freely of course I thought we didn't actually have to make a nose. With this being said I did what a need to, mold the head, body, limbs, etc. stuck them together along with "glueing," them, with a liquid made from Glue, Water, and Vinegar. During the process of glueing the face parts, my art teacher had asked if I made a nose and I told her I hadn't because the aspects of Voodoo dolls do not always come with certain parts such as noses and that mine wasn't SUPPOSED to have one. She pretty much ignored me and maybe 10 minutes after that she asked again and again, meaning I had to reply with the same thing. When I was done she pretty much "yelled" at me, getting the attention of everyone in my class. I remember almost exactly what she said "AVERY, IVE ALREADY TOLD YOU! YOU *NEED* TO PUT A NOSE!" And that honestly *boiled* me up. Considering 1. She said we could do most everything freely, 2. She didn't *Tell* me I NEEDED to put a nose. And 3. I had told her MULTIPLE times I didn't intact need a nose. That happened a lot throughout the school years meaning she'd embarrass me a lot, causing me to start doing more of a strict concept of art and sort of stop being creative at least while in her class.
Kittenfight_ 326 2 teachers I had in seventh actually managed to pull the "cool" thing off. One of them even said "yo" a lot. I think they were science and math.
I Actually Have The Same Teacher Like That.. I Have A Teacher That Is Next To This Guy With Blonde Hair,And He's Kinda Tall. Whenever In Lunch,He Says That No One Can Stand Up Until Lunch Is Done. And He Also yells Out "YO!!"
Ha, fucking 7th, I was the same way with my Texas History and Sceince teacher and I think for some reason day they told everyone they themselves have ADHD. o.O And come to think of it, the whole kids needing ritalin if they have ADHD thing sounds pretty hypocritical...
I don't really comment often but I just wanted you to know that I always love to watch your video's. Your artstyle is adorable and I also really like your comic unfamiliar!
Never actually went to any type of art school or art class, but may in the future. I just feel like I don't want someone to tell me what I need to draw, but instead just be able to pick and choose for myself.
Think about it this way, class is for building your skills and your free time is for drawing what you actually want to. You use the skills from class to improve your personal drawings. It may be hard to find time to work on personal projects, but I think it's pretty important you do, so you don't forget why you're taking art classes. And a job or client will tell you what to draw anyways. That's just the name of the game. To draw only what you want, you have to make a name for yourself. Or have some other income so art can be a hobby.
I had a total narcissist asshole for an illustration teacher in my second year, which I dropped after like two classes. He's pretty renown throughout our school as only seeing his work (which is honestly pretty mediocre) as the pinnacle of illustration, and I just couldn't stand for it. He just brags about his own style and way of working so much that it actually managed to make me sick physically lmao. But anyway, I love your art style! The lines just makes it seem so alive!
My 7th grade English class had the best teacher ever. He was “cool” and had memes on the whiteboard. He somethings even wore star wars merch to class, but at the same time he was a genuinely good teacher. He managed to make reading “The Taming of the Shrew” interesting! If kids were struggling he would go and help them personally and he gave good advice for your writing projects. One day he ran out of assignments because we all finished early so he started reading the book “How They Croaked” and proceeded to tell us about the death of cleopatra. The class was insane and I loved it.
I just started going to an Art school. (Currently on the way home, actually) I lucked out and got all the chill and fun teachers. They care, they have senses of humor, it's great. Edit: I am now in my sophomore year in the same school, and I major in animation. We haven't really started yet but I'm excited as hell! Art School is pretty great.
JustSomeKid InTheComments god, lucky. My teacher just hates life. Practically the hidden gem one but replace the good things with the strict one. I also have this huge hippie teacher and we all know she's drunk pretty much every class.
GoddessOfCuteness Ooh, yikes. Wishing you luck, that sounds rough. I'm in a high school that teaches illustration, design foundation, animation, film and editing, graphic design, etc... and I'm a freshman. That's probably why I got lucky. I'm assuming your in a college/University. Anyways, that's besides the point. Like I said before, wishing you luck!
One time one of my art teachers brought her own work in as an example when she was teaching us a new technique and if anyone dared to do it differently to how she'd do it but that worked for them she'd tell them how wrong they were doing it. Her lessons are very frustrating but thankfully I only have to deal with her for an hour and a half every week
I mean, as the teacher it makes sense that she'd show you how she does it. Everybody teaches what they know. Plus, why would it be a problem to ask the students to show that they learned the methods being taught in class? That's why you take classes, to learn new techniques.
XCuber2 I get that she'd want to show us the technique but not everyone is going to be able to do it best the way she does it because everyone is different. As long as it gives the intended effect I don't see why it matters if someone does it slightly differently. (I was one of the people who did it differently but I made sure that I did it differently when she wasn't around. She basically wanted us to put varnish over white acrylic paint and black charcoal but I found it easier to work by putting the charcoal on after the varnish had dried because otherwise it just got spread all over the paper but she didn't like when people did it that way). Saying that everyone has to do this one technique the way she does it is like saying that everyone has to paint the way that she does.
Butt Monkey I can understand why teachers usually do not favor the "Anime" style. Anime is usually stylized and horribly disfigured by amateurs. People who draw Anime usually don't the basics of anatomy. They never try to go out of their comfort zone or anything. Anime usually doesn't show any emotions, I'm not saying it cant, but most people draw portraits and simple drawings that could be replicated easily with the right amount of skill. Teachers don't mean to offend you, but their job is to allow you to grow and live in the outside world. One skill that multiple people have and could do better isn't going to get you fair. Know the rules before you break them. Anime is fine for personal reasons, but unless you're highly skilled, it won't get you far in the world. I myself draw in an Anime style because I like it, so continue doing what you love, but know it's okay to try different styles.
The best teacher I ever had was the scary strict one, and the worst I had was a mix of the artsy fartsy one and the narcissist. Really...she was terrible at teaching. The first teacher that made me truly enraged!
I don't know what my current art teacher would be as a stereotype, but all the teachers I had before him were basically "Bob Ross" types. Everyone had to take art for part of the year each grade until high school, so the art teachers assumed no one was taking it seriously. They didn't teach us much technical stuff, and almost never gave specific advice/critiques about someone's work; It was always either not saying anything, or "Good job!" and the like. Needless to say, I've learned a heck of a lot more these first few weeks of school with art class than all the years before, since my current art teacher is very straightforward with what could be improved in a work and teaches lots of technical stuff. Even though I'm the only freshman in the class, I'm really glad I chose it.
My high school art teacher was the wrestling coach. Weird thing is he was qualified for both, and there was actually a lot of depth to the follow-up art classes my high school offered. It keeps getting weirder cause he was the only art teacher, so there'd be mostly 9th, some 10th, and a few 11th and 12th graders all in the same class, each taking a different version of the class depending on what level and path you were in. We all coexisted in peace.
Some pros for the narcissistic teacher: they might actually be very well informed in their preferred area of interest (this is especially useful if it overlaps with yours), and they might also introduce you to a different field or get you out of your own comfort zone. I had a literature teacher who was very disdainful of the fantasy genre, saying it was nothing but regurgitated tropes. She preferred more European, classical literature. However, she was extremely well versed in this area and I learned quite a lot about that particular literary focus and was able to apply what I learned about characterization and symbolism to my analysis of other literary areas/focuses. Basically, cater to that teacher to pass their class, take what they say with a grain of salt, and try to always see the potential in what is being taught and apply it elsewhere. Do this essentially for all your teachers, tbh. Bonus: This is especially true for art teachers that hate cartoons/anime. Whatever their class is, just do it. Honestly give it your best effort to learn what they're trying to teach you and discard their negativity towards your preferred style. The main thing is to just get as much as you can out of their class and to pass it. Then you can go back to doing your own thing. Eventually, if you persist, people will come to you because they like your style and want your work and you won't have to cater so much. You'll basically create a market for your own personal work/style. But while in you're in school? Just get the work done. Don't go in thinking, "I don't want to do this, it's a waste of my time, it's not what I want to draw." etc. It's better to think, "I'll do my best". Anyways, good luck guys! Try not to stress too much.
My art teacher never really explains anything, he just draws and expects yoy to copy even though his projector is crappy and we can barely see the drawing. And his desk is always super messy, he is just strange to be honest. (And its only the third week of school for me)
i had a art teacher who made us draw only manga but the thing i didnt like was you had to draw characters with big heads and stupid "kawaii" faces instead of actual manga and once i drew a character with a MASSIVE head and she said it was too small.. -.-
One minute I was listening to Drop Pop Candy, next thing I know: This. PS: The first one was definitely my 6th grade teacher, just not in art school, in normal school.
me: *sees the shirt on the sketch of the teacher who only cares about their own work* THIS MAILBOX IS MINE,AND THIS TRIAGONAL SIGN,THE BLUE BALLOON,THE MONTH OF JUNE,THEY'RE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE (idk why thats what I immediately thought of XD) EDIT: how did I get this many likes?!
If I was an art teacher:”You guys just draw whatever you want nice, sad, angry, gory well not gory pretend I didn’t say gory ok? Maybe next time we can do something with clay I don’t know.”yep dat would be me
Thought in grade school/middle school/high school I mostly got the Bob Ross type, funny story my art teacher in senior year once accidentally drank from the cup she washed her paintbrushes in instead of her water cup, it still had paint water in it, she wasn't amused
Juuzou Suzuya HAHAHAHAHA!!!😂😂😂 It happenned to me when i was like 9 or 10 since then i was always neer doing that again but moved the paintwater a little further on the table for no spills/drinking😁
you forgot the spiritual one. I had an art teacher who was so deeply into art that he just emitted art love vibes. I loved being in his class because of the way he spoke about art, but what I didn't like was that he didn't help me whatsoever
All the teacher you said in harry potter: The first one: Snape The second one: Flitwick The third one: Lupin (Edit:Moody) The fourth one: Lockhart The last one:Mad-eye (Edit: Lupin) Edit:A lot are saying Switch Lupin and Moody,I personally don't feel that works but that is just me. I will put in () the edit. Edit 2:Imagine still getting nitpicking, about ready to do one of those "This comment has been edited so you'll never know what the people in the replies are talking about."
This is late but the second one is def trewlany or however you spell her name. Also I don’t really think lupin was the third one but then again there wasn’t really any teachers like that. But I feel like if James taught it’d def be him 😂
I'm studying an NC in art in college and I'm only just getting to know my lecturers. There's one that's like a cross between the 'cool' and down-with-the-kids sort, the currently working, the narcissist (he's met sir Patrick Stuart and isn't afraid of reminding us every time we have him, he also plays his music and isn't scared to comment on the choice of song of the music students next door to us) and the laid back experiment sort. My other 'traditional art' lecturer is a cross between experimentation and strict, 'spots every mistake' type. I then have two very laid back, 'do what you like but here's some guidlines' digital art lecturers (one's digital media, the other's software skills). Then I have a numeracy lecturer whose a perfect mix between laid back and strict. I'm meant to have another 'traditional' art lecturer, but I haven't met them yet. They're all quite nice, but all have their flaws.
I'm case your wondering, in Scotland, an NC is the level bellow an BBC which is followed by an HND and then a degree. You can choose the 'traditional' or digital route (that's in a quote mark because I don't believe that either are less of an art form than the other). You dont have to follow the whole system, but that's how it progresses. You could probably go further, like a master's of even a PHD. I don't know though.
I'm not at art school or anything, just normal school, but these types of teachers also remind me of my teachers. The strict one was my german teacher and she was like my favourite teacher. Because all you had to do is not do too many spelling mistakes, be quiet and say smart things. I'm so sad that she isn't our teacher anymore! :c Then the "carefree" type is our current math and art teacher... I don't like her. (Probably because I don't like math and because she is our art teacher now and because of her, we don't have the other kinda carefree but still caring art teacher. The other one is so much better!) And...we have sooo many "cool" teachers. Our first math teacher was like that, I didn't like him. And our new ("religious education"? Is that how you say it in english? That class where you learn about different religions and stuff like that.) teacher is also like that. But he is okay, his classes aren't that boring. Why did I even write all of this? It's not like anyone reads this and it doesn't even have anything to do with the video! :c
Frog Don't worry, I'm reading it XD I've got two strict teacher ( Math and Civil Study???), and one cool and friendly +joker type of teacher ( He teaches both Physic and Chemistry) The other teacher doesn't lean much to any of these categories... some are lazy, some are absentminded, some got bullied by the students, some are the kind of teacher who you could joke around with for a bit and will answer your question with a kind and understanding look ( which is really nice)
Jinx The Fox Yeah we also got some of those. I always feel sorry for the ones who are bullied, because like...why would you bully them? Okay, maybe they aren't the nicest but they still try to teach the students something which is better than teachers who just try to get class done. And these nice teachers..yeah, we had one of them once, but then he left the school and now we don't really have teachers like that anymore :c
So far in my life, I haven't had any of these types? My art teacher is more... joking but strict? Basically, She jokes around, smiles a lot, but if you do something that she doesn't like, she will yell and openly tell you that she doesn't appreciate that, and you need to stop She gives out pretty constrictive criticism at times? But others its from her personal opinion She refuses to give out any 100%, but you can still easily get close if you try your best and listen to her advice Not really sure if she sticks under any of these, possibly some formed together? All together I'd say shes a great teacher
OMG I love your style it's looks amazing, I hope you keep improving your style! Btw I think your commentary is pretty entertaining so keep up the good work!

Imaginary Pluto I read it
Imaginary Pluto when I called my English teacher strict she looked offended, it was meant to be a compliment.
Hope all goes well.
I’m the opposite. I don’t learn well from strict teachers but do great and love to get to know the Bob Ross teachers.
Imaginary Pluto yeah In middle school I had a similar experience, my teacher was very strict but was a good teacher and I did end up eating with her, not because of you reason rather because the art club would have special contests year round and so that we could get the projects done she would have us come to the art room at lunch and sometimes after school,
I have a strict art teacher. Some girl was like “oh my god my art is so bad” and the teacher said “I know” oof
я не говорю по русски oh. Nooooo
One of my art teachers said “Try to learn from your friends” I said I didn’t have many, she said “I know”

My old art teacher in secondary school used to eat paint.
What kind of paint though?

I practice all forms of art, but my favorite is cartooning. My anime improved after I got further in realism, but it lost it's charm to draw. Most people just want sexy or cute things. It shows how our culture has changed. Better or worse, it's not my call. Or yours.
But my point is this: leave your comfort zone. You may find it actually helps your artwork improve. Learn real human anatomy and dynamic poses. I guarantee your characters will look more natural or fluid.
Most art I see has stiff poses.
I think I tried to do that once.. . I used a pencil and paper during class.. I couldn't since it just looked so weird lol 🙃
Katie Marigold I draw more cartoony drawings so when my art teacher sees what is in my journal ( when I finish early she lets me draw In class ) she tells me i should make a cartoon strip
@@Lorinissa- 'I tried that once" is why you failed tbh.

SylenDraws I see you everywhere
SylenDraws I like how your profile picture is like noob art ( no offense ) and you do realism
My art teacher actually shows us anime in class and we had an entire unit about manga
SylenDraws Actually they have a reason, they often hate anime because it has weird proportions from a real body. If you make realism it could improve your artwork immensly (anime etc) But I hate those ones that act batshit crazy when they see those pesky animus end mangos. Like calm down.
ALSO IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE TEACHER, don't think that all teachers hate cartoons and anime
Also there are more reasons.

Wow he sounds awesome I wish he were my teacher
I want to give him a high 5 so bad
DreamKatchers that is the teacher to have!
I like a mix of the bob Ross, the hidden gem, and the perfectionist. They add up to some good moderation.

While I took Art class in high school, and I had 3 teachers:
1) Visual Art teacher, who was kinda the "Bob Ross" type.
Avery's World lol that's a long story, my art teacher is pretty much kind

Student: >Paints the musical score in the form of a music sheet.
I actually had the first type of teahers, the thing was, her name was acctually Ms.Stern
Azure Artist was she thicc too?
Azure Artist I also had a teacher in elementary and her name was ms stern but she wasn't strict much
One time one of my art teachers brought her own work in as an example when she was teaching us a new technique and if anyone dared to do it differently to how she'd do it but that worked for them she'd tell them how wrong they were doing it.
Everyone keeps saying art school is horrible because
•they hate anime
•they judge you a lot
And I say....match made!
Ursidae Felis
Judging art is good. It helps you improve
But anime

Random kid in my art class : -ArE yOu DrAwInG-NUDE!-
This is why I dont draw in public anymore
And this is why i need to drag my body on a coffin and never return
i had a art teacher who made us draw only manga but the thing i didnt like was you had to draw characters with big heads and stupid "kawaii" faces instead of actual manga and once i drew a character with a MASSIVE head and she said it was too small.. -.-
egg egg eggegg you should have just made the WHOLE head the drawinf
egg egg egg egg that’s just...weird

Oh boy.
One minute I was listening to Drop Pop Candy, next thing I know: This.
PS: The first one was definitely my 6th grade teacher, just not in art school, in normal school.
me: *sees the shirt on the sketch of the teacher who only cares about their own work*

Tiny Box Tim good, i don't want them
My art teacher in a nutshell:
Hello class, you can draw whatever ya want, and do you guys want some music?
Omg you like the promised Neverland
If I was an art teacher:”You guys just draw whatever you want nice, sad, angry, gory well not gory pretend I didn’t say gory ok? Maybe next time we can do something with clay I don’t know.”yep dat would be me
Nightmare Shadow Freddy Yup dats me
Nightmare Shadow Freddy what's wrong with gory stuff?
same lol
Nightmare Shadow Freddy
I'd hate you if you were my teacher
Nightmare Shadow Freddy
that's a terrible teacher :/
Thought in grade school/middle school/high school I mostly got the Bob Ross type, funny story my art teacher in senior year once accidentally drank from the cup she washed her paintbrushes in instead of her water cup, it still had paint water in it, she wasn't amused
Juuzou Suzuya HAHAHAHAHA!!!😂😂😂
It happenned to me when i was like 9 or 10 since then i was always neer doing that again but moved the paintwater a little further on the table for no spills/drinking😁
I did that before
you forgot the spiritual one. I had an art teacher who was so deeply into art that he just emitted art love vibes. I loved being in his class because of the way he spoke about art, but what I didn't like was that he didn't help me whatsoever
Just about every teacher is a mix of two but I see how well you illustrated it❤️
All the teacher you said in harry potter:
The first one: Snape
The second one: Flitwick
The third one: Lupin (Edit:Moody)
The fourth one: Lockhart
The last one:Mad-eye (Edit: Lupin)
Edit:A lot are saying Switch Lupin and Moody,I personally don't feel that works but that is just me. I will put in () the edit.
Edit 2:Imagine still getting nitpicking, about ready to do one of those "This comment has been edited so you'll never know what the people in the replies are talking about."
Random hoffman mad eye wasn’t a teacher BCJ was
@@insertusername4079 iT's ThE sAmE tHiNg
This is late but the second one is def trewlany or however you spell her name. Also I don’t really think lupin was the third one but then again there wasn’t really any teachers like that. But I feel like if James taught it’d def be him 😂
**shook animal noise**
I'd definitely switch Lupin and "Moody".
I just like watching her draw
XD
“They look like they’re on the verge of death” me too
(0:07) my grade 6 art teacher was like that... (looking at you, Miss.Toth)
I thought that said Miss Thot, whoops.
@@mouse8709 XD

I love how your artwork is changing. the colored line art at the start was really nice to look at ^^
my art teacher is the "I chose art as my minor in uni" one.... send help
We prayin for ya
Oh god, I'm sorry!
*HNC. Autocorrect changed it to BBC
*ladydoor plays in the background*
Frank TheFishFarmer yes thank you. I was legit looking if someone else recognized it
Yess
This is why i was looking through the comment section thank god, thank you human being
Frank TheFishFarmer MY THOUGHTS I WAS LOOKING TO SEE IF SOMEONE ELSE CAUGHT IT
I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THAT OH MY GOD
OMG ACCURATE!!!
i had a super strict teacher but my mom said that was the year I improved the most
and she's short
I'm not at art school or anything, just normal school, but these types of teachers also remind me of my teachers.
The strict one was my german teacher and she was like my favourite teacher. Because all you had to do is not do too many spelling mistakes, be quiet and say smart things. I'm so sad that she isn't our teacher anymore! :c
Then the "carefree" type is our current math and art teacher... I don't like her. (Probably because I don't like math and because she is our art teacher now and because of her, we don't have the other kinda carefree but still caring art teacher. The other one is so much better!)
And...we have sooo many "cool" teachers.
Frog, I read it :3
Frog I read it too, thank you for sharing 😊
Naw, thank you Mar ine and Paris Gregoire :3
Frog Don't worry, I'm reading it XD
I've got two strict teacher ( Math and Civil Study???), and one cool and friendly +joker type of teacher ( He teaches both Physic and Chemistry)
The other teacher doesn't lean much to any of these categories... some are lazy, some are absentminded, some got bullied by the students, some are the kind of teacher who you could joke around with for a bit and will answer your question with a kind and understanding look ( which is really nice)
Holy crap I love this so much! The 'cool tech dude' one you did really reminds me of Underfresh Sans:3
7:44
If i had a teacher like this in the future swear to god I'd call em Mr.Aizawa-
Y e s
"They actually consume paint"
*Ink!Sans has joined the chat*
What?! They consume paint??!!!NO.
Error!sans has joined the chat
Oml yes-
So far in my life, I haven't had any of these types? My art teacher is more... joking but strict?
Basically, She jokes around, smiles a lot, but if you do something that she doesn't like, she will yell and openly tell you that she doesn't appreciate that, and you need to stop
She gives out pretty constrictive criticism at times? But others its from her personal opinion
She refuses to give out any 100%, but you can still easily get close if you try your best and listen to her advice
Not really sure if she sticks under any of these, possibly some formed together?
All together I'd say shes a great teacher
squeakyhammer same!
squeakyhammer sounds like my old art teacher
I has the same art teacher
I've been waiting for this upload!! Every time Haley uploads it makes my dayyyy
OMG I love your style it's looks amazing, I hope you keep improving your style! Btw I think your commentary is pretty entertaining so keep up the good work!
