Great analysis. It seems AI still has a way to go regarding VGC. Eventually they will have the data for the Pokemon in the back too. But yeah I can see it being very similar to chess in the future in terms of the AI prediction and best moves.
I'm excited to see how it advances for sure. I love watching chess analyzes so hoping I can do the same with Pokemon in the future with that type of AI.
