Yes, you need to use a mix shader to combine two different images for the two sides using a geometry node. For the theory part, check this tutorial 👉 th-cam.com/video/oSIluVR4jSI/w-d-xo.html and for a practical example, check this tutorial 👉 th-cam.com/video/la41EvhcuJg/w-d-xo.html
Yes, we have the same option in the Add menu - but you have to be in the Object mode to see that menu. By default when you open 2D Animation it takes you to the Drawing mode. Switch over to the Object Mode from the left end of the menu bar, then you'll see the Add menu.
You mean it is showing just fine in Eevee and it is showing nothing in Cycles? That's strange. What do you see in Cycles - a black surface or a default gray material?
Please check if you are running into lighting issues in the new version of Eevee, we have discussed some useful tips here 👉th-cam.com/video/8YtA9ve3GsY/w-d-xo.html
@@5MinutesBlender well I want to know if theres a way to import images on blender 2d animation cuz I don't know how to, I didn't see any tutorial from blenders newest version to import images on 2d animation
@@Chrisu_erm Yes it is the same in 2D animation as well. By default when you open 2D animations, Blender takes you into the Draw mode. If you switch over to the Object mode, you'll get the Add menu under which you have Image > Mesh Plane option to add/import any picture.
Sir, when my object follows the path and as soon as the path ends, why does the object automatically move out? Why does it not stop when the path ends?
Hi, it can happen if you have used a position value greater than the length of your path in the follow path constraint. You can find this value in the "Frames" field under Path Animation in the Curve tab for the Curve object. It is 100 by default. So you can set a position from 0 to 100 in the follow path constraint. If you enter say 150, the object will go beyond the end of the path end.
nah. there is no "Import Images As Planes" among the addons on Blender 4.2 ( at least for the time being ) no among the deactivated ones, no among the activated ones.
Yes, there is no add-on anymore. This add-on was there in the previous versions. It is now integrated as a menu option from Blender 4.2 which is what we discussed in this tutorial. Am I missing something? 🤔
@@5MinutesBlender will watch again😂 it was 3am when I was following this tut, I probably missed it. edited: yeah I just watched a little bit, now I see. Thank you, have a great day, mate.
I don't know what you have tried, but I see that image sequence is importing smoothly. Just follow the same method as described here. In the file open dialog box select all the files in your image sequence folder and add them. It will create one plane for each image spaced appropriately along the x-axis.
Just follow the same method as described here. In the file open dialog box select all the files in your image sequence folder and add them. It will create one plane for each image spaced appropriately along the x-axis.
Same process, just select your video instead of the picture when it asks for the input file. It works right away without any additional effort, the video plays as you run the animation. Just tested this!
Do you have a very large file? Do you have all drivers updated? After a Blender crash you can do some investigation following this guide: docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/troubleshooting/crash.html
Blender is evolving. Something missing, something changed, and we have some very nice features newly added. I think the biggest change is now the Bloom effect is dropped (however we created a free add-on for the same) 👉 th-cam.com/video/95_J71gscx8/w-d-xo.html
@@altheaarchives96 Yes I can understand 👍 The new ray-tracing option in Eevee, although not flawless yet, is a game changer for faster rendering. It can produce Cycles-like output in 10% time of Cycles, I would say in 70% cases. For the rest 30% Cycles is still the only option.
Now this might be a stupid question but... I have skin textures that are 100% realistic because they are the HF layer of a Split Frequency apparatus in Photoshop. Therefore they contain all the info needed for photo realism in one go. In order to have them on a 3D model they need to be rendered AS THEY ARE but wrapped on the model. Is there a way to do this? If we can do this, it is very easy to get 100% realistic skin in 3D: a rendering without texture (it will be the LF layer of the apparatus), a rendering with the texture as described above and compositing WITH THE PHOTOSHOP LINEAR LIGHT MODE. Is there a way to do this?
After a long time 😊 I hope you are good. I don't have that much experience with Photoshop, but we do have compositing options in Blender and we can use the Linear Light mode in Color Mix nodes. But I think the primary challenge would be to correctly unwrap the UV map for such a detailed texture of the entire skin area 🤔
@@5MinutesBlender There is no challenge because the original rendering will be blurred by 15 pixels so details are almost irrelevant. the rendering will only serve as a LF layer. All the info for the texture is in the HF layer that must be rendered AS IT IS. It looks weird but: 1) Being a photographer using Photoshop since 1995, I have an internal knowledge of the textures. 2) Being a mathematician I can think things others can't. Mix this with a factor of 0.5 and you might have something ... different Do you want to see what I did in 5min Photoshop?
