I really like that 7.3 in the xf. Sure it's not budget friendly, but it shows every penny went to a good place. The supercars should have created a big block series instead of trying to run a quad cam against a push rod engine. Godzilla v motor home engine, lol.
The DA is quite different between Heathcote and calder. Super hard to get a turbo car to bracket race consistently. Always went faster at calder due to the DA. XF is very neat. 👍
I wonder what the temps are for the trans cooler pre and post temps, plus does it have temp gauges for the trans cooler and diff cooler? The XF is a beast, to think dandy engines built a 7.3 godzilla engine and then put 2 turbos on it as well. Good luck i hope the weather is perfect for the challenge and also good luck to everyone in the challenge, cheers 😎👌👍🦘✌ I would guss around 2,500 hp with full boost for the 7.3, the powergluid is rated for over 3,000 hp for sure ,your not going to build a engine with that much power and then not have the best of the best down to the micrometer perfection in all the build, like that is insane really, were talking around the 150K plus cost to have everything perfect. 😎😎🦘🦘✌✌

I don't understand what a "Dandy Godzilla" is - looks like an American V8? Godzilla is Japanese to me, and for cars specifically, a Japanese Nissan inline 6. Oh, never mind, googled it - Ford culturally appropriated it in 2020 for one of their truck engines apparently. Impressive results anyway!
U 2 realise Godzilla was the Australian nick name for the r32s, penned by a journalist in 1990 ,only 32s are considered Godzilla, fyi no one owns the name ,no one appropriated crap 😂 The Japanese never called them that til after we did lol

@@5lcalais1 Well, technically Toho Productions owns the name "Godzilla" - which in my mind makes it Japanese, so you'd associate its use with Japanese stuff, not generally American truck engines - but I guess Ford must have got the OK from them to use it, if it's an official name for the engine. Seems like a dumb name for an American V8 though - they should have called it King Kong or Mighty Joe Young or something like that instead. Personal opinion of course. Probably just some dumb marketing exec came up with it. My only point was I had no idea what it was and assumed before clicking on the video that it would be using a Japanese engine.

I’m with you, before you googled. The term shouldn’t be used for anything but in relation to where it originated - the Nissan GTR.
