- Rob plays Blowout and learns why it's inexpensive.
All opinions are our own but the jokes probably aren't. Sweaty Cowch is hosted by Rob and Noah; two friends that love potty humor and retro video games.

Blowout released in 2003 as an inexpensive throwback title to games like Contra and Metroid with a some tropes from Id Software shooters. IMO it fails to capitalize on the nuances that made those franchises memorable.

Dang that industrial soundtrack is pretty sweet
Oh my god, thank you for reminding me of this absolute snoozefest game I had as a kid. Haven't thought about it in 20 years. You know a game is great when you're 11 years old and it still bores you to tears. I never even bothered to look into cheats, maybe I would have appreciated the game more if I had.
PS, youtube out of nowhere recommended your channel and it's great. Hope more start finding you and you keep making videos on forgotten old games like this one. And that you keep going to the Edmonds Another Castle, hearing that name gave me a jumpscare, love that place
Happy to have shone, shined, shown(?) a light on this dusty childhood memory that fell behind the shelf of your brain. The views and support from friendly folk like yourself have been pouring in for several days now and Im still in shock. Thank you!
I like your video style. Thanks
Got this game for GameCube back in Christmas of 2010 I didn't beat it until almost 3 years after I got it because I didn't have a memory card to save just got home from school and played it until I finally got to the end and beat it not gonna lie I really do like this game a lot and feel like it's quite underrated and a hidden gem but the lack of story really kills the game momentum. Seeing as there is not a lot of gameplay of this game on youtube it's nice to see a review of this game and someone else perspective on this game rather than my own take. Thank you for this and I do have a walkthrough of this game and longplay formated videos of this game on my channel as well.
I always like hearing from folks with a fondness for a game, even when it didn't resonate with me. I remember the no memory card struggle. My first week with the PS2 was like that and I would start a new game of Medal of Honor Frontline every night, which I didn't mind because it kicks off with the Normandy landing. Thanks for watching!
The only memorable thing about this game is Chris Sabat's voicework.
I should have called the good voice acting inspite of the trope heavy set up. I hope they had fun recording it.
Ever play breakout for the Xbox great game I have never heard anyone talk about
I've not played an Xbox game called Breakout but I've played a little bit of Breakdown. Is that what you meant?
@@SweatyCowch brake down my bad
I had this game randomly 20 years ago and it was a gem my friend was like this is actually good
