The commercialization and mainstreaming of it is weird (like the birthday party thing), but otherwise it's basically harmless.

Prior to the game Awards trailer for Ballistic, the last time I played it was 2018 and I thought it was as mid as every other BR game. The creative mode content + no build with the new move techs they added this season are the only reason I got into it in earnest. Also, I've just been looking for something with a sizable player base that isnt full of god-sweats. Consequently, I also usually place within at least the top 25 because I'm an arena shooter vet playing against mostly kids and teens. No crown yet, but it's also been less than a week, and the first 2 days I only played Ballistic and TDM so 🤷♂️
the thing is that skibidi is technically so far removed from being gmod or half life at this point that i don't think valve has legitimate grounds to sue, but it would be fucking hilarious if they did sue

The stupid over-expressive faces just hit that uncanny valley revulsion for me, I can’t stand any of them. The only way I can enjoy them is if the animator shows restraint with the faces (super rare) or I just don’t look at the screen.
