I’m a much more recent convert, but I’m very glad to have started watching Vinny, who has helped me a lot both mentally and creatively. It’s good that he’s still enjoying streaming too.
My motto is: "ironic shitposting is still shitposting". If you hate something, but "ironically" interact with it, for example, buying a $50 toy "as a joke", you only show there is a market to capitalize, even a "hate" market. Also the constant use of irony/sarcasm brings people that think they are unironically around people with similar tastes. Ironically liking something was what made Sony rerelease Morbius on cinema only to fail harder than the first time.
As long as Vinny wants to stream and upload, I want to keep watching. It's perfect to put on while I'm painting my Warhammer 40k armies or something. And Red Vox is good listening for when I'm reading books at the library.
Originally when listening to this from other room, thought the wrestler's name was Steamin' Flow. Regardless of how awesome that could've been, I agree, Steven Flowe is my new favorite wrestler.
Someone should make a frinkiac for vinesauce so we can make compilations much easier (I would estimate it would take about 3,000 dollars to use openai whisper to transcribe the streams accurately but most streams have the semi accurate closed caption data at least)

I'm not gonna pretend ST is secret high art or amazing or whatever, but people acting like it's a national tragedy that, gasp, the game known for it's large amount of crossover cosemtics now has cosmetics of a popular webseries is honestly pathetic in a way.

A big chunk of the reaction feels like the exact kind of "kids nowadays only watch/listen to slop" attitude from [insert generational group here] that gets rightfully ridiculed. It all feels very performative. Not like it's a big deal, but I can't help but roll my eyes at it when I see it. Skibidi Toilet really isn't all that far removed from the kind of absurdist gmod animation I was laughing at 12 or so years ago.
