    you are an excellent teacher. I first discovered you from a web search about starting to tattoo past 60. I'm a good artist sure, but it's a whole nother thing. Your encouragement moved me , and now getting into your lessons in a methodical way as the course lays out I believe I can do it. You are empowering, trustworthy and just plain kind. Thanks a million.

    What I've learned the year I've been tattooing is everyone likes to say theres no set guidelines for tattooing then turn around and say what they do is the only way to tattoo correctly. Everyone is always trying to push their methods on you. this isn't the case there is kinda guidelines or a base method for tattooing but they don't tell you there's different ways of doing it and you need to find what works best for you.

    • @Screaming05
      @Screaming05 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      YEAH!! I’ve noticed that too! Like I started tattooing and I’m still learning , and upon my researches I always find “do it the right way” and they tell you everyone has their own unique styles, which is very confusing, like at the moment I’m still trying to figure out HOW I should hold my machine, like I would see a lot of people hold it differently, which is very confusing.

    I'm so glad I stumbled on this series! I felt like other tattooists were not as structured as I'd like. Should there be any liquid on the dabbing wipe when using fake skin? I tried some lines on cheaper fake skin, and it just seems to smudge up and stain the surface a lot when I try to dab with a paper towel.

    great video, great idea publishing this free course! thanks. a question about this lesson: is the same if I go downwards instead of upwards tracing the Ines? I hope I made it clear, I'm italian and often I have difficulties to explain what I have in mind

    I’m excited to have started your course Ben, all the information and explaining why of everything has been so extremely helpful! So thank you so much, your absolutely brilliant Mate! After this lesson I have a question, I noticed you started from bottom and worked your way up to top of each line. Does it make a difference if one was to work from top of line down to the bottom instead of bottom to top? Wondering if that affects line work like positioning does at all or is it the same, one can do either or?

      Hey thank you for the comment and supporting the channel. Yes please follow the f=direct as in the video because we then do it in different ways in future lessons. I want you to drill and practice all directions rather than just be able to pull or push lines
