Drags arcade RA is definitley cooler always prefer the quicker RAs in the game watching miguel or marduks RA for example makes u wanna ragequit out of boredom
If by cooler you mean game play wise with the quick rage art , I can understand . But in terms of animations and coolness , I’ll stick with the console version . Even if they feel over lasting , at least they took the time to put some efforts with the animations , and personalities put into it. Drag ‘s RA in the arcade version is basically a collection of his basic moves , it feels rushed .

I mean Jin's was ultimately just another variation of "launch em high into big punch" so i'm not holding my breath tbh. But yeah, hopefully they step their game up.
They're not building movesets from scratch though, that statement pertains to visuals & aesthetics. They'll keep using the same animation engine that they've been using since T5. Can expect them to update legacy animations though

The arcade version had realistic, natural lighting in it's stages whereas in FR they added unnatural, over-saturated colour filters to them for whatever reason.
I played Tekken 7 1500+ games in Tokyo in 2015 so i got really familiar with it and when it came out on consoles i was dissapointed it didn't look as good. I hoped the PS4 Pro version could be the same since that and the arcade version are 1080p but it was still far off. The PC version looks much better overall in 4K but it still has a different feel than the arcade version. I was especially impressed with how good every character's skin looked in the arcade version.

Tekken arcade always does play faster than home console version it doesn't matter which version of Tekken you play it's quite a difference transitioning from say for example devil jin arcade to console as he moves much faster though he's fairly easy because his move set doesn't vary much whereas some of the other characters have had their move sets completely altered
Idk what the change was in the polishing for console release, but as much as I enjoy Tekken 7 FR, it looks like we got a visual downgrade. I can only speculate it was for performance reasons. The arcade version shows the power of UE4 for a fighting game, but FR doesn't and that sucks.
With the release of the new trailer, I've seen mouthbreathers claiming Arcade release had better graphics than console release and that they are downgrading everything again. Shit is crazy, people need to get their eyes checked.
I disagree, I much prefer the adjusted white balance in the console version. I took a trip to Norway and shot a lot of photos during the time, and all of them had a bluish tint to the shadows when my white balance was calibrated perfectly. Snow is kinda bluish.

The arcade rage arts look unfinished especially with the camera angles not being too cinematic. I do prefer how the characters introduced in the arcade have shorter rage arts compared to the rest of the cast. Don't like how rage arts are just regular moves or re used animations half the time. In tekken 8 i'd prefer them to be shorter, be more original and have more complicated inputs, it sucks accidentally inputting RA when u just want another move.
