This is a tough call. The Vanilla rage arts have a more classic 2D "super" vibe to them. Those type of games usually string normals and specials into a fluid combo with a finisher, but it always feels "live", there isn't usually a delay. Current Rage Arts make you FEEL the loss of control due to your error being punished, and the cinematic effects add impact psychologically. One thing I dont like is that all fighters are now using this formula, and while its good for shifting momentum it sort of breaks your immersion in battle to watch the forced cutscenes which make you feel like you aren't currently playing. I still dont know how I feel about Specials like this in Tekken, but since were here we gotta keep improving on it.

I like how most of these rage arts look a bit more flashy compared to the console version where some of them are a bit too slow and a bit overdramatic. I think Dragunov's is a better example of what I mean. In the arcade version it looks more flashy. Like a super combo in one of those arcade Capcom games. Where in the console version it's just too unnessesarily long and too dramatic. As if it's trying to be some kind of Mortal Kombat fatality or X-ray/fatal blow.
