- For this quick little review video, I display easily the most bonkers car I have done in the personality department. This car is owned by my friend Josh, and you might have seen it causing all sorts of chaos at events such as H20i. Big thanks to Josh and his friend Brandon for bringing down this hell of a time car, along with TARMAC clothing. 240sx's are always a treat, but damn this thing is obnoxious-and proud of it. MarLikesCars these are clearly not stock, so how is buying 4 different wheels more expensive than 4 similar ones? Alignment may be a problem if wheels' weights are different, though...
Would be kinda hard to legally drive it though, let alone be able to control it at all. XD

I LOOVVVEEE ITTTTTT! The bars in the front where the bumper cover is supposed to be, the colour, no rear bumper. It just works IMO. THIS is how every car guy should be! Do whatever you want to your car cause it's YOUR car! Also, wicked burnout David!

They put them on P51's as well - the shark mouth is a statement that hunter/killer missions have --- P51s were tank killers as well as air-to-air badasses so shark mouth rockin' death from above!

haha the hate is evident in the comments. But regardless they are the people that don't understand what its like to own a drift beater. Most of the time its like if someone gives you a sticker... or there is a meme you like... or just plain wanna express yourself you just do it.. I rememeber like 3 years ago with my 240 beater just for fun i spray painted random designs and emblems all over the car and even let other friends do it to. Then after i got tire of it. i just sanded it off and now its just old looking but that doesn't matter to me cuz the car is fun.

All this "he (the owner) doesn't care" stuff is absolutely wrong. The car is one big cliche. It's all obviously on purpose and the owner does care. Kids are into the yolo swag ain't care mentality and this is a product of that. Now I know what you're going to say, "He's a car enthusiast! Let him do what he wants!" Yeah, yeah, I get it, but putting meme stickers on a 240 doesn't make you unique, it's pretty normal. Find a stock, clean 240 and I would say that's different. Now that all the teen boys hate me, I'll say this; I don't care what he does with his car, ain't care. yolo.
#ain'tcare taken to the max would be steel wheels, stock wheel and shift knob, cable e-brake, open diff, no pipe after the headers, leaking oilpan, bad synchros, no rear seats, plastic-film rear quarter window, replacement circle headlight in place of a square, dust in the center console, stains on the seats, film on the windshield, bud in the doorhandles, ashes in the window seals, cigar burns on the roof, and a couple of mcdonalds bags and a condom under the passenger seat. Or something like that.
Love your channel, man. Also, I completely agree with you. I've only see three or four stock/clean 240's each year. It's pretty sad. The guy knew what he was doing, just like the owner of that "no fucks given RX-7". The word unique cannot describe a bogus modified 240sx nowadays..

Just everything I love about my S13. It's so raw and pure! Even if it seems a bit slap together like this build. If you never owned one, you might not know the feeling. Cool review =)

That's what I love about 240s, you can do anything to them (almost) and they're still cool as fuck. But if you did this to an s10, or a geo metro or civic, well it's just gay.

He basically turned his car into a hipster trying way too hard to achieve a certain look when it should create itself over time. ***** I very much doubt that, Crown Vics are built to last. There's a reason they're used by cops and taxi companies for years and years. They're very reliable cars and rack up hundreds of thousands of miles with relative ease and keep going.
It's not suppose to be the fastest thing on asphalt, and it's also not supposed to be a professionally modified 240. It's just his car and that what makes it so great. It's creative and it's unique. I also love the front bumper. You can get to a certain point of doing what ever you want to your car that eventually you'll get some credit. Go big or don't go.

I appreciate that david can be positive about the cars he reviews, my weekend warrior is a merkur xr4ti with 254000 miles, been hit with a deer, heater core exploded while I was getting pulled over for not having a left headligh (from the deer hit) I'm going to paint deerslayer in cursive on the hood, It starts most days, though usually with a cloud of blue smoke from the leaky seals, It has an exhaust leak so it has lost almost all of its low end grunt. But it still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. I call it the millenium falcon, because it's fairly fast, when it works. Character in a car is great fun, it keeps you wondering whether you're going anywhere everytime you drive it. (It just sucks as a roadtrip car.)

Really depends on how much power and what kind of response and money to spend. Building and turboing the ka is the most cost efficient but you'll have to dump a lot of money to get really high numbers, rb25 is probably my favorite route for all around bang for buck but if you want a drift nasty destroy everything on the road 240 go ls1.

I've never seen them that low. Could be blown.
VG's definitely are not as popular they just don't do as well compared to an RB swap. Harder to work on too.
VQ swaps are a bit pricey but they do well. But again for that money you could go ls1.
I have a 90 240. I jusg bought a 92 today. Amazingly clean unmollested. It even has the stock radio and antenna. That thing is gonna be fun soon

This makes me feel better about how I'm restoring my S14. People tell me that I'm wasting my money on a 240 making it look and run flawless, but I'll be happy when I have one that still works and hasn't fallen apart in 10 years.
I haven't regretted anything in my life as much as I regretted selling my sr20det powered S13..... Most fun car to drive no doubt... Will be buying another S13 soon, i will probably go with an ls3 swap this time around...

agreed, that was the video I thought of as well. My Merkur isn't as bad as either of those 2 cars, but I stopped worrying about how it looks after I hit a deer and did over 1500$ in damage to it. I dont have that kind of cash to throw at a weekend warrior.
