Like in a DRNM/Evenly/Crossout/etc type list where you just want to wipe your opponent's board then set up a unbreakable board. There is a combo with Ground Xeno + one baby that summons Chengying + Psy-Framelord Omega (to put Misc back into the grave during Standby) + gives Oviraptor back to Hand via the fusion (maybe it can be optimized to also search Pill), so this combo gives you automatically follow-up

However, my combo only used 5 Extra deck slots in Scrap Wyvern, Apo, Borrel/Dweller, Nat Beast,and Gallant Granite, while also shuffling back Misc off of the same 2 opening cards in Xeno + Baby. You still have 2 Petira, 2 Ovi, 0-2 Dogoran, 1 UCT, 0-1 Pank, 1 Visas, 1 Double Evo Pill, 0-2 Nibiru, 3 Ash, 2-3 Imperm, 3 Fossil Dig, 2 Xeno, 3 Lost World, 1-2 Planet Calarium, 3 Prospy in deck, and 10 extra deck slots. Unless the summon combo of Chengying and Omega is Nibiru safe, it's just a weaker end board for courtesy's sake or friendlies.
Definitely feels like there’s a lot of good stuff going for this archetype. Out of the three archetypes introduced in Wild Survivors, I thought Transcendasaurus had the most potential. Definitely feels like if this archetype gets a second wave of support it could be a real problem.
Chimera is usually used as link fodder from wyvern to something like ip or other link 2 to have apolusa as part of your board. Chimera turns on evo pill as well. Scrap raptor and overapter into savage dragon equip scrap wyvern for more negates. The new transcendrake spell can also search raptor as well. In the next set the new evolsaur xyz makes a better rank 6 than solda anyways so don't need a 6 and a 4 for baronne.
First off that’s two extra deck space (and you need a spell/trap to set), second off Solda is 2 summon pop. Also are you a Vw player because this is the exact thing a vw player would cope on
Tbh I feel like playing a couple more normals, maybe as a 60 card version, would do wonders for the grind game, since the transcendosauruses recur themselves and get bonus effects if you have normals in grave
I think the premise is that you won't use the entire extra deck turn one. For example, most of the links are for the turn 2 otk. Basically, its sacrificing rebuild ability for turn one constancy And hoping the opponent can't break through.
I still don't understand how these boards merit cutting the scrap cards. None of the boards you made in this video are better than what Scrap Raptor enables. I also just think your version of this list leaves a lot to be desired. The 12* Transcendosaurus isn't good enough to warrant a slot and you should be playing another normal on top of the Frostosaurus. I prefer Sabersaurus cuz its the ancestor of Gigantozowler.

This list is just worse than Normal Dinos with the scrap package that ends on; Nat Beast, Apollo(Any link 4), Dolka(Any rank 4), and any high level Dino. I’ve played this list on Masterduel for 7 months, it’s better. However, there does seem to be some consistency boosting cards here to pop the baby. So maybe you splash them in to the normal package.

You ever just look at a deck profile and just FEEL that something is wrong with the ratios? That's what I'm getting from this one, but I'm not a dino player, so I don't really know what the problem is Probably a combo of a lack of hand traps and the minimum # of dinos being played. For instance, god forbid you're going 2nd against any deck that summons a Kashtira and they just happen to banish your single Tyranno.
I am a new dino player, but the scrap package seems absolutely worth it to run in this deck even post new support. I'll probably play them instead of prosp and access code because I'm poor.
I think so many of the Dino cards are too fun. So instead of picking am engine, I play every engine: trancendrakes normals, unexpected Dai, Dino rabbit, true king, and scrap. I took out the doodle dinos, but might as them back too. By having a 60 card monstrosity, it reduces the chance that I draw the giga brick of glaciosaurus. Is it good? Not really. It's it fun? Hell yeah
I don't get the plays you made in game 2 versus Bystials at all... Why did you not attack UCT into the set Masquerade, when you could've done, activated its burn effect for 1k, then when they brought it back you could've attacked it with UCT again, and burned for 1k again. And you also didn't use UCT burn effect when attacking the second lost world token, which was a free 1k burn too. And then you would've had an extra 3.5k to face through Meteorus, rather than wasting its attack on the set Masquerade. Maybe I'm missing something?
It's been tested so far that the Scrap variant is just better tmk. You'd only really play the spell and the little Xeno if any of the cards from how it looks.
I am actually gonna find peeps and give him a good shaking by the shoulders this list is awful. Why the 12 synchro? Why the main deck 12? Small world better than prosp in the deck. why are the baby ratios backwards? Giant rex? 1 uct? Solda AND the transcendrake xyz? It feels like a pre wisu release decklist but we’re already on the next set.
kinda mad that my custom card archetype idea of barbarian orks riding sentient meteors in the shapes of dinos (called meatyorks) is somewhat ruined by this card's inclusion but whatever.
To be honest, I feel like ye've jumped the gun a bit on this one. Dinos in 2023 isn't a fully realised deck just yet - not only is there the new Evol support which comes out over here at the end of the month that pairs especially well with Transcendrakes, there's also Kaitoptera and Horned Saurus that came out in the OCG in June (so we'll hopefully see it by the end of the year), which means you aren't solely dependent on Oviraptor resolving its effect. Even discounting the Kaitoptera line (which to be fair wont be out for a while), not waiting a few weeks to take advantage of the Evols seems like a poor choice to me.
Miscellaneousaurus only applies to Dinosaurs you control. Petieteranadon was destroyed from Deck thanks to the effect of Lost World, and was thus never in his control.
Transcendrake is an infinitely better name that this archetype doesn't deserve because we were promised some kind of weird dinosaur dragon sea serpent deck but all we got was more generic dino soup.
imagine if dinosaur was replaced with the quad types on every transcendrake card's effect and they were actually divided into those 4 instead of every monster being a dino. it'd still be USED in generic dino soup but it could also be used in antlanteans and dragon link and maybe even swordsoul cause im pretty sure wyrm is the other type right? we could've had an interesting utility archetype to match the likes of tri-brigade
Okay I got an issue with this list, there’s no Lithosagym. In a format with powerful singleton extra deck monsters like AriseHeart running around, the ability to get rid of it going first is insanely powerful. Sure you wouldn’t be able to search it, but a way to lame out Kashtira is worth it for laming out Kashtira
i was VERY doubtful when i saw the list, but there was some killer gameplay here. great piloting! survivals end can go back to the bulk tin and so can big trans dino. i wasn't mad at first of the lack of scrap package, but i do think it's a needed axis for this deck's main line. the big synchro trans dino also can also go, Solda is always a better hit.

When transandrake will release in MD? But before it release let most probably play Kashtira in dino engine since we have a lot of lvl7 dinosour we can special summon and pankratops at 3 copy. MD dino deck will far more powerful since it have 3 misc.
Is survivals end really worth it? it seems kinda dead outside of a matchup like swordsoul that summons normal monsters. Popping your own frostosaurus seems terrible and popping the lost world token means that you either wont summon from surivals end because you protected your token or you wont protect the token in which case you lose your targeting protection. Leaving us with mainly the grave effect, which dont get me wrong is very nifty in a deck like this, but is it really worth all that set up?
If you play the scrap package like I do, you can use it as sort of a tech card. Instead of using scrap wyvern to pop baby at the end of the scrap combo, you could just pop the set survival's end, which could act as an interruption in grave via pop. This could also help you keep the plays safe since before the choke point of summoning wyvern (misc doesn't protect) you could pop the baby for giant rex or another level 4 immediately instead at the end, getting an early xyx. The problem would ofc be that giant rex doesn't get to grave, and no xyx could cover both monster handtraps AND impermanence. But if you have Lost world as part of the combo, you'd recover the body that would've been giant rex as well as dodge impermanence since they can't target nor activate it with the token on field.

Popping the survivals end also seems neat there but again, really not sure if its really worth it. Still seems bricky, especially if we also play scraps. Imagine opening chimera survivals end and 2-3 handtraps lmao
I have been saying for ages that the new Dino cards do nothing new for the deck. I love them to bits and it's one of my favorite decks, but all these cards to is say "go off, but HARDER" and address none of the underlying problems with the deck.
because people that don't know how to play around misc got it limited, MFs just wanna shotgun hand traps on the first normal summon and then get pissed off when that's not the proper choke to negate.
The weight of playing dinosaurs is a heavy one. Good thing Dino players like lifting big rock and heavy logs. They should let Dinos play 600 cards. Give them a heftier burden
Raptor just feels so bricky. Having to play at minimum a brick and at most mulitple with the fridge, and just so many ED spaces between appo, scrap wyvern, and borrelsav, when Xeno Meteorus not only saves your normal and gives you multiple level 6's for so much usage in so many ways, it's more often than not better to simply not run the scrap package.

I just think it's neat that Frostosaurus finally gets use in a modern Dino deck. 2600 was absurd Atk for a level 6 even back in 2007.

This list is just worse than Normal Dinos with the scrap package that ends on; Nat Beast, Apollo(Any link 4), Dolka(Any rank 4), and any high level Dino. I’ve played this list on Masterduel for 7 months, it’s better. However, there does seem to be some consistency boosting cards here to pop the baby. So maybe you splash them in to the normal package.
It is just a worse Dino list cus gotta make content. Pank for no real reason, all Dogoran in the side(because shocker, you don't go first all the time) to out Arise-Heart/etc or Bishbalkin FTK. No Nibiru(since we think we'll always be going first?), No Ash(since we'll alwaysbe going first?), No Crossout(since Imperm, Nib, and veiler aren'r real?), and no Piri Reis to bait out Ash/search the level 1. No scrap engine, No Giant Rex, 1:2 ratio of Foolish Burial Goods to Survival cus reasons(?), 1:2 Ratio of Thrust to Tactics even though the card you set can't be activated from thrust going first and going second it's useless if it isn't searching Evenly/DRNM in game 1. His build is playing going second cards but no payoffs/answers for going second at bad ratios. This makes it doubly funny since the cards he's playing(Tactics, Thrust, 3 Prospy) cost absurd amounts to just play worse.
Yeah, pretty much. You are MUCH better off just using 1 Meteoros and the Kaiptoptera fusion and ignoring the Transcendrakes entirely.

That's what I'm getting from this one, but I'm not a dino player, so I don't really know what the problem is Probably a combo of a lack of hand traps and the minimum # of dinos being played. For instance, god forbid you're going 2nd against any deck that summons a Kashtira and they just happen to banish your single Tyranno.

I am a new dino player, but the scrap package seems absolutely worth it to run in this deck even post new support. I'll probably play them instead of prosp and access code because I'm poor.

I think so many of the Dino cards are too fun. So instead of picking am engine, I play every engine: trancendrakes normals, unexpected Dai, Dino rabbit, true king, and scrap. I took out the doodle dinos, but might as them back too. By having a 60 card monstrosity, it reduces the chance that I draw the giga brick of glaciosaurus.
Is it good? Not really. It's it fun? Hell yeah

I don't get the plays you made in game 2 versus Bystials at all... Why did you not attack UCT into the set Masquerade, when you could've done, activated its burn effect for 1k, then when they brought it back you could've attacked it with UCT again, and burned for 1k again. And you also didn't use UCT burn effect when attacking the second lost world token, which was a free 1k burn too. And then you would've had an extra 3.5k to face through Meteorus, rather than wasting its attack on the set Masquerade. Maybe I'm missing something?

I don't think the Transcendosaurs are that good for dinos really, I think just splashing the xeno cards makes for a much better dino pile.
I like splashing the small xeno for access to 10/12 synchros

It's been tested so far that the Scrap variant is just better tmk.
You'd only really play the spell and the little Xeno if any of the cards from how it looks.

Small world better than prosp in the deck. why are the baby ratios backwards? Giant rex? 1 uct? Solda AND the transcendrake xyz? It feels like a pre wisu release decklist but we’re already on the next set.

To be honest, I feel like ye've jumped the gun a bit on this one. Dinos in 2023 isn't a fully realised deck just yet - not only is there the new Evol support which comes out over here at the end of the month that pairs especially well with Transcendrakes, there's also Kaitoptera and Horned Saurus that came out in the OCG in June (so we'll hopefully see it by the end of the year), which means you aren't solely dependent on Oviraptor resolving its effect. Even discounting the Kaitoptera line (which to be fair wont be out for a while), not waiting a few weeks to take advantage of the Evols seems like a poor choice to me.

Miscellaneousaurus only applies to Dinosaurs you control. Petieteranadon was destroyed from Deck thanks to the effect of Lost World, and was thus never in his control.

Transcendrake is an infinitely better name that this archetype doesn't deserve because we were promised some kind of weird dinosaur dragon sea serpent deck but all we got was more generic dino soup.
imagine if dinosaur was replaced with the quad types on every transcendrake card's effect and they were actually divided into those 4 instead of every monster being a dino. it'd still be USED in generic dino soup but it could also be used in antlanteans and dragon link and maybe even swordsoul cause im pretty sure wyrm is the other type right? we could've had an interesting utility archetype to match the likes of tri-brigade

Okay I got an issue with this list, there’s no Lithosagym. In a format with powerful singleton extra deck monsters like AriseHeart running around, the ability to get rid of it going first is insanely powerful. Sure you wouldn’t be able to search it, but a way to lame out Kashtira is worth it for laming out Kashtira

survivals end can go back to the bulk tin and so can big trans dino. i wasn't mad at first of the lack of scrap package, but i do think it's a needed axis for this deck's main line. the big synchro trans dino also can also go, Solda is always a better hit.
scrap package is not needed. Wyvern, the fridge and chimera are all just more bricks to the additional brick of the normal monsters
@@crunchgd4924 no room for the fridge but even the 1 beast isnt horrible - but certianly not 3 bricks (2 normal monsters + chimera). that and Scrap raptor and LW are a really sick 2 card combo that ends on nat beast, UCT, Dolkka

When transandrake will release in MD? But before it release let most probably play Kashtira in dino engine since we have a lot of lvl7 dinosour we can special summon and pankratops at 3 copy. MD dino deck will far more powerful since it have 3 misc.

Is survivals end really worth it? it seems kinda dead outside of a matchup like swordsoul that summons normal monsters. Popping your own frostosaurus seems terrible and popping the lost world token means that you either wont summon from surivals end because you protected your token or you wont protect the token in which case you lose your targeting protection. Leaving us with mainly the grave effect, which dont get me wrong is very nifty in a deck like this, but is it really worth all that set up?
If you play the scrap package like I do, you can use it as sort of a tech card. Instead of using scrap wyvern to pop baby at the end of the scrap combo, you could just pop the set survival's end, which could act as an interruption in grave via pop. This could also help you keep the plays safe since before the choke point of summoning wyvern (misc doesn't protect) you could pop the baby for giant rex or another level 4 immediately instead at the end, getting an early xyx. The problem would ofc be that giant rex doesn't get to grave, and no xyx could cover both monster handtraps AND impermanence. But if you have Lost world as part of the combo, you'd recover the body that would've been giant rex as well as dodge impermanence since they can't target nor activate it with the token on field.

Popping the survivals end also seems neat there but again, really not sure if its really worth it. Still seems bricky, especially if we also play scraps. Imagine opening chimera survivals end and 2-3 handtraps lmao

I have been saying for ages that the new Dino cards do nothing new for the deck. I love them to bits and it's one of my favorite decks, but all these cards to is say "go off, but HARDER" and address none of the underlying problems with the deck.

The weight of playing dinosaurs is a heavy one. Good thing Dino players like lifting big rock and heavy logs. They should let Dinos play 600 cards. Give them a heftier burden

Would scrap raptor not be the best search target on the planet with the ground xeno? List could certainly use some work.
Raptor just feels so bricky. Having to play at minimum a brick and at most mulitple with the fridge, and just so many ED spaces between appo, scrap wyvern, and borrelsav, when Xeno Meteorus not only saves your normal and gives you multiple level 6's for so much usage in so many ways, it's more often than not better to simply not run the scrap package.

@@_GLObot Dino was a strong deck before and after the scrap package, all the way up until misc got limited. It was a good engine for a while, now it's just meh. Dino was never broken by scraps, it just made an already great deck a bit better
