  • Hey there! It's been a long while since my last video , but I'm back with a rather ambitious project marking a fresh start of sorts.
    I spent a lot of time and effort stepping up the quality of my videos and I hope it shows.
    Hope to see you in the next one!

    Ouch! Losing a RPI4 in these times is a real bummer.
    Those cheap XL60** or LM25** buck convertors are a hit or miss. Especially when you are using them close to their max spec. There's a reason why they're so cheap. I would never risk costly SBCs or MCUs with those.

    • @SciNix

    Maybe a silly question but you could have just replaced the SD card on the old RPi and insert in the new one, could have saved a ton of time to boot OS and install ROS right?

    • @SciNix
      @SciNix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's true , But my SD card got corrupted when that happened (I didn't mention it in the video) So , I had to format and reinstall everything again :/

      Thank you! The Nema 17 stepper motors I used were from Amazon , the exact ones aren't available anymore but you can search for them on Amazon or websites like robu.in . The ones I used were cheaper as they came with lesser power (Notice the reduced thickness).
