Congrats, your mods rock!!. Just acquired the Road king Special 23 three months ago and was looking at bars ... since reach is bad at slow maneuvers and have back issues due to too long reach after a while when cruising (too much diameter and not enough pullback on the stock bar) cause upper and lower back pain. Being also 6´1" as well, do these bar feel much more comfortable than the stocks? .Have been advised to go higher, 14", but some other people stay with the 12" saying is good enough and wiring is less of a pain in the a.. . What's your take on this?
I have the same bars after you pull the wires through the riser bars from your controls where do they go being that the clamp bar is one solid piece all I see is them hanging out of the bottom on each side of the clamp bar no video on roadking special at that point only roadglides
Do you worry the bars will come a loose where they tighten up at the down point onto the clamping bar how tight is that I love the bars have the same bike but that worries me can’t get enough info
LOVE the bike. About to trade a '20 Low Rider S for a '21 Special like yours. Question for you and these bars, how tall are you and how high do your hands sit when on the grips? Below or at shoulder level? Thanks for your time.
The windshield is a Harley part and I believe only comes in one size. I’m 6’1 and the windshield does what I needed it to do and looks great on the bike.
Did you have to do anything special to mount the turn signals lights back to the handlesbars. Any kind of special wiring or just all stock wires? I see with my 2018 RK Special when you get bars prewired they take that into consideration. Just wondering if you had this issue. Thanks
I positioned my bars so they are in line with the front forks. This gave me about a quarter inch from the vent housing on the windshield. Hope that helps
Nice man I just picked up a 2021 road king special need bars the stock ones are 2in to short I don’t want height I want them closer so I can rest against my backrest I’m only 5’ 9 maybe I can roll them back I will see really looking for the best way to run power supply any ideas nice video
I went with 13” road 6 customs handlebars and they needed clutch cable extension. I bout a 4” extension from fat baggers cause I couldn’t find the upper cable and didn’t want to replace the entire cable. I’m not sure how the op got around that clutch cable needing extending.
I watched all the Kst install videos. The baggers are all the same for the most part. Was my first bar job and was actually not bad at all. But the wire extensions for sure and depending on what you ride you may be ok with your stock cables. Take lots of pictures before you unplug your wires and you will be good to go. Good luck man 👍🏾
They look GREAT!! Love those KST's!!!💯👍👍👍
Thanks brother!!

Looks good, like the phone set up too.
Looks good dude. I was considering these for my 18 heritage. Dig the bar bag too.
OUTSTANDING 👍💯

Very nice!! Did you have a size option for the windshield tans how tall are you??

Love it, great job!
Thanks brother!
Looks great Brother. What kind of seat is that? I have a 2021 Road King Special in SNAKE VENOM!
It’s the Drag Specialties Predator III with red stitching. Congrats on the bike, the snake venom looks awesome 👍🏾
I want the Snake Venom Road King Special soo bad!
Those bars look good. How tall are you? Did your stock cables reach?
I’m 6’1 and these fit great. Only had to extend the wires. Stock cables had plenty
You should definitely do some flybys with that exhaust your running
I will have an exhaust video coming
Did you have to pull back your 12 inch bars to get the wind splitter windscreen to fit?
I positioned my bars so they are in line with the front forks. This gave me about a quarter inch from the vent housing on the windshield. Hope that helps
@@2021nate Thanks for the reply. This is helpful as I am building on my new Road King. Trying to narrow all my parts down. Nice bike by the way.
Did you need to extend the electrical for the install?
Only the electrical extension was needed. You can go up to a 12’ bar without extending the cables on the 21’ model year
what is the model of highway pegs you have??? I have a 21 RKS also and need highway pegs, please let me know, thanks!!

Hey man looks good! I have a 2014 road king
Nice bars
I have a 2021 road king special in snake venom. Did you need cable extensions?
No cable extensions just wire extension kit..was 35.00 at my local dealer.

Wish I could save 1400.00 and do my own bars... what’s a good video to watch?

@@2021nate thanks bud
