You could unlock heroes in crazy different ways and when you played as a specific hero or group, there was special dialogue options like you could be Deadpool and talk to lady death and see them flirt weird. This game had amazing replayability.

So last year we got Vin Diesel in F&F Crossroads and Bloodshot, and this year and later we’re gonna get Vin in F9 and Ark 2? Too much Vin Diesel for one person.
I enjoyed Bloodshot so much, it was a guilty pleasure watching it. Reminded me of simpler times and when I was a kid watching an action movie just for the fun of it. No expectations of sequels (eventhough they may be), no expectations of anything really, just sitting down and watching a fun wacky movie.
Also Vin in Ark2 is playing, believe it or not, a futuristic master hacker and engeineer...

Players do not deserve to be treated like trash for hoping for a good product. I mean this in general, not just for EA.
For example, I bought Black Ops Cold War, expecting Treyarch and Activison to learn from their mistakes with Black Ops 4. Cause there is no logical way that they would decide to fuck up again, right? I thought they would have common sense!
I was fucking wrong. I uploaded a video on my channel showing how unstable the game was for Xbox Series X. Crash after crash on the FUCKING CAMPAIGN. The game even crashed hard enough to turn off my console into the DOUBLE DIGITS, and I heard that it bricked other people's consoles!
The game might be better and more fixed now but I had enough. As much as I love Zombies, as much as I care about Samantha Maxis, I don't want to fucking play Cold War anymore, I uninstalled it a long while ago. And as much as i want to play the new Zombies Map, i'm not gonna.
I didn't deserve this though! No one deserves this! To have a game be this fucked up!

It is the fault of the companies that make the shitty games and promising people that those shitty games will be good. And then rather then take the time to make a good game, they serve us a raw, undercooked, horrible product. But we were already forced to pay for it before we were given it.

I learned my lesson about Treyarch and Activision with CoD:WaW. It was just CoD4 reskinned to look like WW2. At launch, it even had all the same problems that earlier versions of CoD4 had because they reskinned an early version of CoD4 and didn't even bother to fix the bugs that were already KNOWN AND FIXED by IW. Furthermore, they routinely went through their own forums and deleted all posts reporting these bugs in an attempt to make the game seem as if it had no problems.
NEVER AGAIN. You can "hope" all you want, but "hope" does not usually reflect REALITY. When someone shows you that they can't be trusted, and they refuse to admit their faults or make things right, stop trusting them. That goes for greedy corporations even more than it goes for people.
You can be a victim your whole life, if you want. Find people that continually mistreat you, keep giving to them, and "hope" they start treating you better. OR you can wise up and start protecting yourself. Your choice.
If you don't want to get ripped off, get smarter. Stop watching advertisements. Stop jumping on theses ridiculous ad-driven hype trains. Stop pre-ordering things before you know what they ACTUALLY are. And, FFS, stop buying games from companies that NEVER deliver what they promise.
You'll only get what you deserve from life when YOU take care of yourself. Stop being the idiot that EA, Activision, T2I, etc. think you are and stop giving them your money. That's the ONLY way this will get better. The sooner we let those god awful companies die, the sooner their IP will pass on to someone who actually cares about their customers. I got smart. Will you?

This can't be right, i mean... this game won so many awards, it can't be the 2nd worst game of the year! Joe must be wrong! kek
never even heard of Crucible or Hyperscape lmao... that's some poor marketing.
It was fun for a week or 2 on ps4 but far too chaotic. It was a massive struggle to hit any1 with a sniper as it's also vertical gameplay and it launched with terrible aim assist controls/y and x axis sensitivity.
They had a battlepass and everything lol the characters and world was just boring, and when I say characters I mean it's just pick male or female and do a fornite dance.
Crucible didn't get any marketing what so ever. Hyperscape was visible like a week and it looked kinda promising in start. But in reality the saturation and competition in BR genre was just way too much for it to stay relevant past that one week.

In LOU 2, I, Joel, got bashed in the head and we had to become someone we do not want to be and had to attack our own daughter and handicap her and destroy her life. I continue to wonder if Joe played a different game from us because as a mega fan of the first game, I think Part II was a great sequel. I loved it even more on my 2nd playthrough and it was definitely my favorite game of 2020. Videogamedunky’s vids on the game breaks it down perfectly.

The difference between The Last of Us 2 and Fast & Furious: F&F makes you laugh until it hurts, The Last of Us 2 makes you throw up and mindf*ck your good memories from the prequel. This is what The Last Of Us 2 should be No 1 on this list.
The Last Of Us Part 2 should not be 1 nor 2. This is very pathetic criteria if you ask me and it shocks me to see Joe put it number 2.
Considering TLOU2 wasn't even in the unplayable territory like alot of games on this list had where the bugs and glitches actually influenced the overall experience.
The last of us is a good game with a story people are divided on. It is still a benchmark that other games will attempt to imitate in its visuals and technical efficiency
@@gondotheslayer Does it really matter? This isn't the only game with good graphics and good game play which still ends up very bad. Compare it with GOT. Epic cinematics and acting. But storytelling was so flawed. It was so inconsistent. It's like D&D brainstormed what mistakes one can make in storytelling and tried to put every one of them in the story. When one aspect of a game or movie is so bad, so disrespectful with the lore, with the prequels, with the memories of the fan base, then a review like this is more than deserved.
Unlike Cyberpunk 2077, which has a good short story, good graphics (on PC), but without open-world gameplay. It's like a walking and shooting simulator between the quests. Still on this list. You don't treat your fan base like this. You don't manipulate and influence reviewers.
There are certain things going on in the game industry that should be punished. Cyberpunk 2077 and TLOU2 both show such trends. Basically that you only need to throw enough money at a game, and that's it. Doesn't matter how and in which time frame and with which crew, for developers or for marketing - throw money at them and set them unrealistic goals. Develop a demo, doesn't matter if it's the real game or fake. We need a demo asap for the E3 guys! The press needs to see something. Release the game 1.5 years after the fake demo. Doesn't matter if this is achievable. How much money do you need to make it happen? Doesn't matter that development teams aren't scalable like this. Make it happen! By the way, we need Keanu Reeves in this. Remove Jackie's content and focus on our new star. Develop a sequel to our awarded first game. But make it something new. We can't continue our old story. We need more plot twists and sex scenes. And a new protagonist. Doesn't matter if they are consistent with the story. People love sex. Why not put Ellie in a sex scene as well? People used to like her as a child, didn't they? Doesn't matter if the characters are different from the prequel. They have the same names, that should suffice. Focus on graphics and people will love it anyway. Make it happen!
@@darthslinger1129 Bugs happen. This isn't the greatest problem of the industry. You can overpolish a game and it will still have bugs. Up to this day, there is still a bug in GTA San Andreas when you touch a swing and get thrown up into the air. It only becomes a problem if the bugs prevent you from experiencing the story because they are so frequent that you loose time for nothing, loading save game after save game. This happens due to crunch. I guess crunch time causes at least 5x of the bugs of normal development. This is why it is economically damaging because you loose a multitude of your development time just on bug fixing when you could invest it into content instead. There is also the matter of testing, which wasn't seen necessary by CDPR, probably due to their schedule or because they fell for the illusion that you don't need to test because the engine already worked for TW3.

A mistake in storytelling is a mistake, there is nothing to justify. It's like when developers try to justify a bug and claim that it would be a feature.

My point being that Blizzard consisted of certain people, certain teams, with vision and goals and years of unique experience regarding their IP's, internal culture and work ethic. This is what made the games we love.
When those people left, when they were replaced and when acti-accountants were given decision making power over game design and NOT ACTUAL GAME DESIGNERS, blizzard became just a skin activision was wearing.
The worst thing about reforged is the damage it did to the original game. the ladders and "upgrade" to the chat system devestated THIRTY YEAR OLD CLANS who had played with each other from across the globe. they suddenly found themselve cut off from each other because the new system was regional and so basic/lousy compared to the previously setup and still active systems.

I think the problem in gaming is that game companies should probably remain privately owned, because public companies are optimized to make the most money while doing the least amount of work. This isn't optimal for making good games. Probably also the case for other forms of entertainment.
Everything needs to be justified to shareholders and board members who are only interested in profits and losses. The logical conclusion is to make fewer games with fewer people and less content all for more money.

I don't mind DLC that expands the game. But this MTX crap is horrible. It kills the gameplay loop. The challenge-reward system is replaced by stores and battlepasd.
Entire games are build around battlepass and in game stores. Meanwhile, the cosmetics you can unlock by playing the game are dull brown and green shit. All the fun stuff is linked to real world money.
