We are about to install a set of these 300M D60 RCV's in our Ultra4 car. Thank your for all the great info especially the install. I'll be needing that help.
wow order them because I learn they don't hop around when wheeling as much as the other axels. But wow didn't know they last that long and the warranty impressive. Glad I went this route
And make sure you set your steering angle correctly. 99% of people who have problems with RCV's are over-steering them. And a good portion of folks trying to measure steering angle, don't do that correctly.
Holy shit! First time seeing this, they probably sent it out fast because you dont hear these break often. They're probably just sitting around making money waiting for warranties hahaha
Oh dang looks like you’re pretty bound up! That worries me a little. I have 42” sticky treps going on my Tacoma and I’ve got stock superduty axles. And Toyota tcases 😬😬
I wouldn't use them on a daily driver personally. Your factory coil-spring set-up, or coil-overs will be much better suited for a daily driver that sees the occasional trail. The ORI's are a superior trail-only option doing mostly rock crawling.
@@chrisdesertdog2162 I know it's years later, but I'd love to know why they're not suited for a daily driver. Would love to know more of your experience with them!
I thought this was gonna be a video talking smack about them. I got me a d44 JLUR set with the FAD not the 300m ones but I am only running 38s. I plan on wheeling hard but slow I've seen many u joints snap during full turn I don't want to join that club.
Thanks for sharing and confirming the warranty on the axle. Boy I am glad I purschased the RCV's for my FJ Cruiser. 😎

Did you transfer the axle shaft oil slinger when going from the regular u-joint to RCV's? Can't tell in the videos

Looking to get some RCV’s thanks for the install tip.

I am thinking about upgrading my Ultimate Dana 60’s with RCV’S.
Another great vid. Can't believe I missed it!
Awesome, Will be upgraded to these at some point.
Quite a break! What is the tire size and crawl ratio?
Damn I`m sold, been thinking about getting a set for the Tacoma but after this video imma get a set for sure.
Awesome buggy and great video!
Have you ever experienced the clicking noise at full lock and Do you know why it does that?
That’s awesome. I wheel mine hard also. 300m rcv’s. Knock on wood!
Solid break!
Are these 35 spline?
Skip to 1:38 for the crunchies
Were you able to drive it out of the trails on the busted RCV
I took out the broken pieces, pulled the drive slug on that side, and drove back to the trailer.

They are some heavy sticky tires man. Definitely upgrade the shafts. Stock SD axles will not last long if you hit the rocks hard.
I like how ya don’t censor yourself. 🤘🤘 fuckin right! Changed my mind on Yukon axles. Thanks!
What jack stands are those?
Powerbuilt 640912. The last Jackstands you will ever buy.....
Can that fit on Dana 44 please share link
This is a Dana 60, but you can buy RCV axles for D44's too.
I just hit my stocker axles with some rattle can copper and I'm good. Only cost me $5.68
Now you just need some Red Orange or Grabber Green to spray the knuckles for a bullet proof axle .
That’s why RCV is the best Axle shaft company 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
No torque wrenches were harmed in the making of this video ; )
How do you like your ORI struts? Do you think they would be a good option for a daily driver (tj with dana 60s and 6.2 ls engine)? Thanks,

Looking back, you were lucky it broke the beginning of Covid. Break one now, and it would take forever to replace.
Good video

Thats my buddy Mark guys in the blue shirt
Here's my motto.....if man can make it I can break it
Cheap metal...
USA supplied 300m is cheap metal!!!!!WTF
@@chrisdesertdog2162 He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Nothing is 100% bullet proof. These are good quality shafts.
A donkey could do that no problem
