lets be honest...really 5 days and you have mastered the recipe and adjustment to the compressor. had this machine as well as many others and it is well not worth the investment. there is a reason why she came to demonstrate.
Hi David, I'm starting to agree with you about maybe making a hasty decision on buying the press. I did find that my recipe I use actually works better than the one she gives you. All said, I bought it and will learn to use it.
It surely is a learning curve and Lee came along because she wanted to make a video with me. Each press works differently and recipes need to be adjusted. Also, the baking soda you use will make a batch fail or great! I was using Arm & Hammer and all was great, then I ran out and with exact same formula, I switched to Natural Soda and nothing would hold, bath bombs would collapse and I started pulling my hair out! So many factors need to be taken into consideration when making bath bombs...
I love the mini size bombs! I don't feel like I am wasting money when I use small ones. The large ones make me feel like my money is going down the drain-literally. The cubes look awesome!

Natalie Russ it depends on the press. I would say for this press, dryer works better, as far as I have tested, but with other presses, it was the opposite.

Actually, this unit is pneumatic! So there is no power plugged into it! The pneumatic press is unhooked and the compressor needs to be emptied after use, but that all comes with the compressor's instruction. But no worries about being electrified! ;-)
Reece Floyd Bath Bombs are a real game changer! Try making some by hand and see the customer respond. A press is an investment but just in a few months I sold for way over the value of this system 😊

I stopped using my rode microphone because it doesn't connect to my phone and picks up the noise from my fridge! I am hoping to have this resolved as I move into my new studio & will no longer have that old noisy fridge! :-)

MustaffaCuppa saves time and for me, working with a press was the first time I was able to supply my shop all summer long. I sold way more than the value of the press & molds

I know this is years ago but DO NOT STICK YOUR HAND IN THE BOWL WITHOUT UNPLUGGING THE MIXER! If someone bumped the machine it could turn on and it would be very hurtful!! I would hate that to happen to such a wonderful person as yourself!!

Neat tip that the wet ingredients were mixed into the baking soda and then the add the citric acid! I am going to try that!
A Coates Life yes! That is something many crafters do! It keeps the mixture from fizzing when the wet ingredients are added 🙃

Hi Susan! You can definitely add embeds in your bath bomb. Be sure that it is not exactly at center (where it can be the easiest to crack :)

I have some from brambleberry but they are a bit smaller. Just make sure you get a size that is just slightly bigger than your bath bombs to fit in
