    Hi!
    I really like your video, I even discovered some apps even if I'm a big user of FOSS apps on Android.
    Just one little thing : what are you referring to , when you say some tasks will require "many many extra minutes" to be completed? Have you got some difficulties to realise some activities?
    Do you have some examples? Maybe I can help you (or try to find a way around or a solution to a problem I've never met before!)
    Anyway, I'll have a look at your channel, it seems to be very interesting!

      Hi! Thank you for your comment, we are happy you found new FOSS apps from the video!
      With the 'many many extra minutes' we mean things like putting big brother apps in Shelter, but to access them you need to turn on work profile, open up Shelter then unfreeze and launch a certain app. Or other scenarios like that where in pursuit of privacy and security we incorporated extra steps in our interactions with the phone hence costing many extra minutes. But with this sacrifice opens up a whole new freer and better world about which we can never complain! We just thought it was a good thing to mention for people who are new to the FOSS world to not be discouraged by some inconveniences.
      Thank you for your offer to help though, we will consult you if we ever run into issues 😄
      (our channel is quite a mishmash of content but we hope to make more tech videos in the future, hope you enjoy the crafting videos haha)

    Is it safe to use this os and app store to download bank apps?

    • @GentleLivingShop
      @GentleLivingShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This OS is safe to use, it is designed for privacy and security. We use it for banking apps with no problems.
      The F-Droid app store does not have banking apps because they are not open source. We download banking apps from Aurora Store (f-droid.org/en/packages/com.aurora.store/ ), it is authentic and safe as the downloads are directly from the Google Play Store. But it doesn't carry all the banking apps and some banking apps won't work (check if an app works on a de-googled phone here: plexus.techlore.tech/ ).
