Thanks so much for the advice Courtney. I like the point you made about the fact that we love the same as anyone else and we can be faithful the same as anyone else. I’d like to hear the story about your partner also coming out to you when you came out to them and what you said and did.
I know of people, both gay and straight, who say that a bi person can have an easier life because if they fall in love with someone of the opposite sex then it’s seen as a hetero-normative relationship. No one would know that he or she is bi.
See what their telling you is if you do that people will tell you , you've made your choice and you're not really by same as if you were with a guy you would be called gay. I think people shouldn't really comment on people's sexualities if it's with flawed logic because half the time it's hypocritical of their own sexuality. People always use gay people and gay men as scapegoat for everything bad and they’re wrong. Yes they never want to bring up how they can sexually traumatize us and how they put gay men thru a very special kind of homophobia that hits more personally. The problem is they always participate in a heteronormative/heterosexist dynamic they always privilege straight relationship yet we’re the side piece or if they’re in a relationship with us we get cheated and gay people and straight people are not equal in our society so in both scenario the gay person gets the worst situation. This was the first time I have seen your full body in a video. You explained things quite well. It is in the end about personal choice and fulfillment . Relationships are work and you have to be honest with each other. You really do have a great situation with your girlfriend. Cherish that. I do not use social media( Twitter and Instagram etc.). That is why I have never talked to you on those platforms. It would be interesting to talk to you I am sure. Thank you for sharing.
Hey, Courtney, This was a great video!! I love all your videos and the information in them! I also agree about needing to share your feelings and all. Hopefully I will be able to do that again but I don't know because the last time I did that to my (ex) Friend it was a bad experience
I think sometimes it allows us to know who to trust in life and who not to , people are worried about losing friends in family when really they should think that your not losing anyone your gaining the knowledge who really cares about the real you.
@@Courtney-Jai Yess!! Well said Courtney!! At least I know my mom accepts me and my grandma is still in dinial, says I don't know and I'm confused and everything. As for my siblings they are still young. As for my Uncle he accepts me as well!!
How do you feel about the gay men that claim bi men settling with a woman proves their point not to go out with us? I mean, you are already on a straight relationship. For many in the community, you're proving their point or just a fake gay. Not a criticism. In fact, it seems it's easier to be bi when you just view men sexually because in the end it's better to settle with a woman.
The point is flawed because if I was with a guy they would say the exact opposite , personally I couldn't care less I'm not living their lives so why should I let someone dictate how I should live mine. Its just happens I fell in love with a girl but it could have easily been with a guy. The more people are concerned about what others think about them the more unhappy they become because you can't please everyone and you shouldn't have to , If I say I'm bisexual then I'm bisexual how it someone who's never met me or seen life through my eyes going to be able to tell me any different.
they’re not fake gay cus they re not gay. we don’t say that but we know bi men privilege women when it comes to relationship and you can’t gaslight us into thinking it’s wrong because we see it happen sooooo much that it’s not something even remotely untrue.
i was just wondering did you ever go through a phase where you worried about being gay over bi sexual. sorry if that sounds bad..i know i shouldnt really be worried but its just im currently isolating myself a good bit and all these worries are coming up and i was woundering if you could relate kinda thing
Oh definitely there where days where I was so scared that I might be gay I just wanted curl up into a ball , but it takes time to understand that you are actually not bothered about your sexuality your worried about what others think about your sexuality and I think that changes as you get older where you say I'm going to be myself .
I think I'm gay because I atrract with a guy, but at the same time I also like girls. I mean, my feeling when I see attractive guy is stronger than when I see attrctive girl. Could you explain what happend to me Bro?
@@mangtutorial953 if you’re attracted to both yes, bisexuality isn’t 50/50 it depends on the person. Maybe you lean more towards men. Now just remember finding someone pretty doesn’t mean you’re attracted to them its two different things. Gay people are exclusively/only attracted to the same sex, bi people are attracted to both in different degrees. I hope Courtney can help you, he said he answers dm on instagram so if you have an account maybe ask him.
i've been dibbling in the idea that i might not be entirely gay. quite possibly heteroromantic with a preference for men. which is weird to say but i guess it's more normal than i thought, cus so many of my friends relate to it. that said. im 27 and still confused sometimes. so nobody should feel a pressure to figure it out right away. everybody has a journey and it't not always clear where it's heading
I really liked your good relationship advice. My boyfriend and I are both bisexual, and we came out to each other early in our relationship. I do have a question: When it comes to relationships and communication, do age and life experience affect how you support and relate to each other? I ask because I'm 31, with a few past relationships, and my boyfriend will turn 22 this month and I'm his first relationship.
Possibly but I think it come down to more you making it that way then it actually being , I think because you have experience you have to show him that with coming across condescending, but its like all relationships the more open you are to talking to each other the stronger the relationship.
I don't really have lusts for anyone but my girlfriend I guess it's because of that deeper connection, but guess if was 100% things like porn might resolve that itch if it ever occurred but generally it's doesn't maybe because I'm past the point of base pleasure or something like that, hope this helped.

@@yun-pg8cr yassss i hear you now , yes some homophobes would say being gay is a choice since bi men can date women and sleep with them etc .. it is almost that bisexual men somehow invalidate even actual gay people in some cases not all tho , im sure tho that lush is quiet flamboyant and really is gay but i do think some other gay youtubers really use us youre right , like that mario guy who is using that gay youtuber forgot his name and many others gay baiting , notice how most bisexuals dont even answer us in threads or comments like here they only answer the ones who are okay with what they say .. its all somehow a trait among alot of bi entitled men , we may seem the ones that are entitled now but in reality they are , you can even ask them a question without them calling us biphobic even who do you prefer more ? theyll get mad ... i can tell i would cry rivers with these two bi exs i died inside it even triggered mental illness in me , my psyche was really disturbed at some point ..now guess what the two bi friends i have simple friends they have girlfriends and yeah theyre still trying to get some twinks on the side . just to close this chapter dear ,the issue isnt even cheating we all can cheat gays or straights but here is the thing .. they cross over between gay town and the straight world in a damn second and that can not be compatible with gays sorry not sorry . now they are valid okay but can only date people like that even the ones that are monogamous bisexuals still need to date either women or a bi person like them . okay they are part of us of course lgbtq for a reason but its not a reason for us to date them , theyre bi erasure and drama and victimization is starting to annoy my spirit tbh at this point seeing all they have done to me and other people then they claim its our fault i mean each day a gay or a trans woman is killed in the world .. what bi erasure theyre talking about
@@erwanmusic2191 agreed. Yes they don’t care to invalidate us cus it doesn’t effect them once it does like w bi erasure all of a sudden it’s an issue and an issue that we caused. 🙄
lush is bi just because he’s flamboyant doesn’t mean he’s gay, he probably will be flamboyant cus he knows people will see him as gay like you did lol. Mario isn’t even bi he’s straight and baits people to get views, he’s not the first straight guy to do that lol. you want another example Dylan geick he’s bi but came out as gay to get press coverage, he was dating a famous guy online Jackson and he cheated on him too.
Even mental illness is rarely studied around gay people specifically and exclusively.
yea we have enough to deal with, we can be friends and acquaintances but that’s all otherwise it’s not good.
I truly hope you’re getting better and better and I’m glad you overcame those heartbreaks and trauma. I’m really happy to hear you have family and friends surrounding you and looking out for you. I hope you’ll always be surrounded by good people that protects you and want your happiness and make you happy. I wish you all the best. 💖💖💖🌈
heartstopper 💋
That is me haha thank you 😊
This was the first time I have seen your full body in a video.
You always leave interesting detailed comments so you still get that social interaction with me and I enjoy always seeing you here.
@@Courtney-Jai Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it too.
I still would like to still be with someone someday relationship wise.
You are the guy of Heartstopper😍
Yes I am
Could you explain what happend to me Bro?
gay=exclusively attracted to the same sex. you are not gay even if you lean towards men you still have attraction to women therefore not gay.
@@yun-pg8cr so, I'm Bi???
@@mangtutorial953 if you’re attracted to both yes, bisexuality isn’t 50/50 it depends on the person. Maybe you lean more towards men. Now just remember finding someone pretty doesn’t mean you’re attracted to them its two different things. Gay people are exclusively/only attracted to the same sex, bi people are attracted to both in different degrees. I hope Courtney can help you, he said he answers dm on instagram so if you have an account maybe ask him.
Your really cute , very inspirational to have people like u being so honest and likeable, thank you

I saw the video where you and Victor Sotberg learned you norwegian. I'm norwegian too
Did you watch all 3 though 🤔
i've been dibbling in the idea that i might not be entirely gay. quite possibly heteroromantic with a preference for men. which is weird to say but i guess it's more normal than i thought, cus so many of my friends relate to it. that said. im 27 and still confused sometimes. so nobody should feel a pressure to figure it out right away. everybody has a journey and it't not always clear where it's heading
Wao long hair
The hair is getting very long now haha
@@Courtney-Jai ok
Many Gay boys have feminine gestures
But it's difficulty to figure out a bi boy as many have straight masculine gestures liike 'Courtney Jai' 🧐
You can always just ask them
@@Courtney-Jai earlier i thought that im bi so my gestures will be like a girl to others but i look like a tough guy according to others
so you think gay men are the only one with feminine gesture!?
Your voice message is. 🥀
Is that a good thing bad thing I'm confused
CJ, you even have BI hair, just kidding. Question, what do you do about an occasional lust for a man?
I don't really have lusts for anyone but my girlfriend I guess it's because of that deeper connection, but guess if was 100% things like porn might resolve that itch if it ever occurred but generally it's doesn't maybe because I'm past the point of base pleasure or something like that, hope this helped.
@@Courtney-Jai I run into so many married men (to women) that have to have an occasional D. That is what made me wonder about it.
Great video
I'm curious, where the people who asked this question gay, bisexual or girls?
