I agree. I prefer to see this rather than the stereotypical finger snapping, sassy ultra feminine characters they continuously shove down our throats.
I could not agree more, gay men are mostly in the comedic relief category. There are plenty of lesbian badasses, not enough gay male badasses. Kinda annoying really.

I know some people already said it, but I'm truly happy to see it, because Asian media, especially queer media, tends to be overlooked, when it is just, so rich! Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, even China before the heavy censure, and especially Thailand, all have great productions and stories I would love for more people to know. So, again, thank you! Truly great edit!
For me Asian BL/ML is the biggest and best storehouse of male love stories in pop culture right now. It's really great to see them together with western productions of the theme, gaining the global recognition they deserve. (And KinnPorsche is one of the best!)

These are my favorite in the last few years, most from Thailand, but also from Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Phillipines, they have strong storylines, really great acting, some are very sexy, and all of them EXTREMELY heartwarming. There're others more older with great quality too, but I think these are a quite good (and long) list already.

Gay characters that are in action and fantasy show or movies are rare in Hollywood and even in anime, manga and light novel. Majority gay character are always in some love story type of entertainment. This what really sucks because action and fantasy stuff is what I am into.
