I'm so glad that Klaus made this list! His romance with Dave was so endearing, and I loved that Diego was understanding when he learned that Klaus' beloved was a man, and he wasn't judged for his Sexuality or his clothing choices. As of Season 2, we can now welcome Vanya to the Bi Family! 👭👬💘🏳️🌈

As a Black femme lesbian, I was hoping Kelsey from Dear White People was on this list. She’s an adorable character and I really see myself in her. ☹️
When Adora and Catra kissed I started screaming "I don't believe, I don't believe", then I started to cry like a baby and I am a 40 year old man. I thought about how I didn't have that when I was young and how the world is so different from the one I grow up. Fortunately.

They make it so natural, and I love when shows don't make it an obnoxious personality trait, and the only personality trait the character has in the whole show. And Julie and the Phantoms makes Alex interesting and his own person and his gayness is just a beautiful detail. It's so good!!!

I hope that Will might be revealed to be gay or asexual in a future season. Robin is currently the only LGBTQA Plus character in the show, and Noah would definitely act the hell out of that storyline! 😍

Wish Adora's girlfriend Catra was shared on this list! As well as other She-Ra characters like Scorpia, Spinerella, Netossa, and Perfuma.
A lot of those characters can fit but they ultimately chose Adora, also if Vi and Caitlyn kiss in the season 2 they would so be on this list.

Just because Netflix streams a show doesn't mean it is a Netflix Original. These are shows that Netflix produces, and owns, not just borrows the rights to stream. A lot of the shows you folks are mentioning are not Netflix Originals. They have wonderful LGBT+ content, but they are not originals, Netflix just streams them.

i loved the way Benson came out to Kipo, like, nah girl, I'm hella gay
while most prominent in Jessica Jones, it should be noted that Jeri Hogarth is also in Iron Fist and The Defenders.
A lot of people in these comments don't seem to realize that the list is for Netflix Original shows, not just shows that have been on Netflix at some point.

As much as I loved Leto and Hernando, you're right in talking about comparing their trust. For one, Nomi told Amanita about the other seven immediately, whereas Leto kept it a secret until the last episode. You could say he didn't want him or Daniella to worry, but there was just something about how more involved Amanita was.

The fact the Robert and Sol from Netflix's longest running original show Grace and Frankie didn't even get an honorable mention makes me sad and it's a disservice to this list because they really show the inner workings of a Gay Relationship and truly appreciate what it means to be gay and all the hard stuff that goes along with it and how to deal with it and I'm just sad they weren't even acknowledged because there so monumentally important to me

I agree with most of the characters on the list. However, the choice from "Sex Education" was just plain wrong. As far as I am concerned, Eric stopped being memorable after he was bashed on his birthday. All the other LGBTQIA characters would have been better choices.
The others are much more three dimensional. Personally, I would have chosen Adam. His character is much more complex and interesting. By the end of the first season, I was rooting for him.
At the end of the second season, he became my favorite character.

Sometimes gay character's only personality is being gay. I hate that they always make sure everyone knows they're gay. It's not always the quirky man who is super extraverted, sometimes it's the shy one acting not all party and fun, NETFLIX!
