- I loved Victor and Benji, but they lost their chemistry. Victor and Nick have so much chemistry, I had to make a video about them. I would watch season 3 again just for these two.

This. THIS is what Venji should have been. With this season, I'd rather Victor stay with Nick and give us a notion that Venji might reunite in the future but not now. Vick had more chemistry than Venji.

@@dramaanalyst1745 And Vick had less drama than Venji tbh. Sure, they hooked up a lot before getting serious. Nick even didn't want it but came through in the end only to have it blow up in his face. Calling Victor boyfriend and then hear during his speech that it wasn't meant at all was truly heartbreaking. He even brought Victor frickin' flowers.

I didn't want the show to go the predictable route and make him end up with Benji. Maybe hints to us they have a future together but not now. I wanted him with nick they were so cute, and the chemistry was just spot on. And I'm a sucker for the fuckboy turn lover boy trope but ofc he gets hurt in the end just when he's letting his guard down.
He really didn’t though.
I’m happy victor made him realize, that a relationship could be possible for him, instead of just hookups. Nick and the Liam kid seemed cute, at the end.

My honest opinion: there's an abuse of creating series with seasons of maximum 10 episodes (especially by streaming services); the writers needed to make a miracle to get Victor and Benji back together in the final scene of the last episode and, in my opinion, they did not succeed. I have to say that, since Rahim appeared to be the second love interest, I got bored of Victor and Benji's relationship (nor I liked Victor and Rahim together). And then they released season 3, 8 episodes full of basically nonsense, caused by the expected need to have an interesting plot with few minutes at disposal and to get Victor and his maybe "soulmate" together. To do so, they created this character Nick, their relationship, even though it was obviously rushed, was more natural and real (at least, this is what I saw) and I thought it was the right path. However in the last episode Victor in a few minutes realises that he only wants Benji. Oookay. When you have only 8 episodes and a lot of storyline to conclude, there's no way to get it done well. I genuinely think Nick would have been a better choice, not only because of the chemistry, but also because they shared a sort of common background and they completed each other. Love Victor 3rd season felt a lot like the final season of How I Met Your Mother and that's why I'm disappointed. Of course, life doesn't always make any sense, but this was beyond the nonsense of life. They should have left the soulmate storyline to Netflix, with Nick and Charlie of Heartstopper.
I hope it's somehow clear, and I want to remind you that that's only my opinion, of course you can disagree.
PS: another problem was the absence of at least Simon.

I get you but there was an undertone of Victor always waiting for Benji. Like how after the hookups he looks at Benji and then download the dating app, again he starts dating Nick when Benji's dad shows up to warn him off. There was just always the sense that if Benji said come Victor would go running which he did when Benji said he hadn't moved on yet, so I see how the end makes better sense but at the same time it was just all nonsense. There was no sense keeping the main couple apart till the end.
@@annestuart7722 yeah, of course, I'm not saying that Victor should have been with Nick because to me he was a better choice, but for what I saw it was totally illogic. If there were like 20 episodes or 10 without all these storylines they they would have written them better and to people like me who preferred Nick wouldn't have been nonsense. I get that Love Victor is a teen drama series, so it doesn't have to present real life as what it is, but the writers didn't do a good job with this last season (and the second half of the 2nd).

I'd say that the end was predictable, I mean they wanted to show that all they fought and stuff was there so that they finally end up together, otherwise the other 2 seasons would feel kinda trash if he would have ended up with somebody else. Plus I totally agree on how they just banished Simon.

Venji vs Vick is the real season finale. That would’ve been less predictable than Benji vs Rahim.
You know what bothers me with this show is that Victor could have the perfect relationships ever (with Rahim or Nick) but he still chooses Benji (for whatever reason)

The comments are hilarious. Umm condemning a kid(Benji) who had substance abuse as problematic and toxic shows just how much sympathy u have as as a human being. Preferring Victor to be with a rebound guy because lets face it he was with Nick to try and forget benji, he was messing and dating him to not think about Benji who broke up with him for his Mental Health. Putting yourself first to get better was the right choice he made, so calling him toxic and problematic for doing that is just plain wrong. In S3 it highlighted that Benji had already been drinking while he was with Victor, so that and the fact that Victor's mother was homophobic of course was going to create chaos in their relationship to begin with but there was always love there and the ending showed despite all their hard times they chose to fight for their love. So no, I DONT think Nick and Victor should've ended up together and thank god they didn't.

Exactly these people are ignorant to the extreme. Victor and Benji was always the expected ending, the big problem for me was that they accelerated the story too much because of the end of the season, and the worst thing is that they reduced the episodes from 10 to 8. If it wasn't for that I think I would have had a more satisfactory development. In my opinion, it should have had one more season, the scenes that Victor and Nick had I really wish it had happened with Benji, they wasted that too. My ending was always Victor and Benji and I'm very happy with that, but I was expecting a lot more scenes with the two.
Right. And what people overlook is that as soon as Victor told Nick he wasn't over Benji, Nick is with another guy. Maybe it is just poor writing on the part of the creators, but it seems that Nick got over Victor in a matter of seconds.

WOW....looks like I'm the only one who is very much disappointed in the last episode. Nothing to do with who ended up with who. It was like they finished episode 7, all went home and then all were called by the director and they said....'we are closing down production, not doing anymore episodes, but we will air what we have and that's it. To me, that's exactly how episode 7 ended. Extremely disappointed.
