I get home from work and there’s one of these parked in front of my house with $2900 on the windows. And a big puddle of antifreeze on the ground. Owners asks me to look at it and the water hose is almost as flat as pancake. I tell her it’s probably the thermostat and she’ll probably need to get it towed. I came across your video and told her whoever picks her up should probably check out your video. I really couldn’t remember much after seeing and hearing your truck run. I need that truck😎
Definitely would have been nicer to see the top view, so we could actually see what you were doing. Also would have been nice to hear what size of wrenches fit it.

Been there. Mine has the flex pipe so I didn't have to disconnect the exhaust. Still had to undo the 2 front motor mounts to roll the engine forward and move the coil packs out of the way. :(

Think I'm going to have to do this to my sister-in-laws Buick fans work antifreeze is full but the temp still fluctuates alot and actually heats up alot but no water in oil and antifreeze is green but the gauge goes up over half alot
My vehicle just broke down from over heating but no anti smell, no smoke from it. I was told that my over flow had Alot of pressure built up. U wanna come do my thermostat for a damsel in distress. I live by myself, disabled lol

You should start by telling the engine displacement. I am looking for help with the 3500 V6 in a Buick Terraza. This MIGHT be the same engine in this car, but I can't read what I says on the valve cover.
I love the line "imagine just trying to change an air filter on this fuc*kn thing", because I just changed it and I was ready to blow this car up. Took 3 different screw drivers and still I practically ruined the new filter getting it in there. I'm not looking forward to the thermostat

The Buick "Ron Day Voo" keeps auto shops in business. You'll pay out the ass in labor for nearly anything done to the vehicle as you have to take a lot of shit apart to get to anything. Changing the air filter or battery leaves you thinking, "Oh god.. Why do you hate me so much?"
I talked to an engineer who does this and he told me cars are designed for the fastest production and assembly work it's not designed for us to work on there is a component that it does want them to come back to the dealership for repair but the main issue is fast production I think engineer should we take apart and remove everything they designed so they realize they could slowly Ultra something into a different location to make this stuff easier. I always end up cursing and swearing when I work on cars
I did this job about 5 years ago and it was one of the toughest jobs I’ve done on a car. God bless the GM idiot who decided to install it there. It took me probably 5 hours to do. I ended up cutting bolt hole on the thermostat housing closest to the firewall because I couldn’t get the bolt started with the housing on. It was one of the worst jobs ever to do on a car. The worst job is replacing the spark plugs on this car!

So the motor tips forward and you can actually access the back plugs fairly easily

I got a ,04 over heard every now and then now white smoke no oil in antifreeze or oil in antifreeze shop told me thermostat are they wrong
