That's because Pentatonix doesn't know how to be low-key. They're pedal to the metal in every song. Even their slower tunes and ballads, they always amp it up like they're afraid no one will like their stuff unless there are belted high notes. Just let singing be singing. It doesn't have to be a spectacle.
