OK, does anyone else think it's awesome that Zedd can do a drum cover for his own song. This guy doesn't get enough credit for his music, he isn't just a DJ.
One of the reasons I love Zedd is because he actually grew up with a musical background which shows in what he produces. If I'm not mistaken, he was raised by parents who were both musicians and learned to play a few different instruments. He knows what people like in music.

He's not the only one. There are other producer/DJ who are also talented in musical skill. Ive seen Paul van Dyk live playing a portable piano on his live sets. It was an amazing experience. Other notable DJ that ive known playing instruments are Gareth Emery and Andrew Rayel.
I wasnt too huge of a Zedd fan but after seeing this phenomenal cover, how could i not be!! Absolutely love seeing raw talent in action. Much respect Zedd

What if he did a special concert with all the artist he's worked with Foxes, Matthew Koma, Haley Williams, Miriam Bryant, etc, and had a live band along with him mixing music/playing some of the instruments... I would totally pay to see that... Live versions of all his music.

Most of the best producers started on a "traditional" instrument. For instance, Skrillex sang and played guitar in a heavy metal band before he took up producing EDM. Producing and DJing is a talent in itself. So artists are never talentless.
Try Haywyre, he's a funky glitch/electro producer, and has mad piano/keyboard skills.. talent that most Inspector signed artists have (KOAN Sound, Culprate, etc.)
