  • Here are some basic topics I find myself discussing with people a lot more than I thought I would. Hopefully this video helps out of few of them.
    Look for:
Air-Tite H39 cases (Paulsons seem to fit these best)
    or
Air-Tite H40 Cases (Please note ASM/CPC chips fit these best)
    Poker Chip Racks:
Useful in most applications and shown in video:
    www.amazon.com/Brybelly-Clear...
Great for Paulson Casino chips (66.7mm):
    spinettisgaming.com/collectio...
Poker Chips used in the video include:
    Horseshoe Cincinnati (Obsolete)
    Mapes (Obsolete)
    Money Tree (Obsolete)

I'm trying to set up some home games and i really want to get very nice chips. i want chips that will really stand out to the players. i'm thinking on the lines of an impressive weight and texture and sound rather than anything else.
i'm also pretty conflicted on whether i should go clay or ceramic. could you give me some advice? thank you!

Yeah, get samples and show them to your friends. It really depends on your friends. If the casino they frequent uses Paulsons they will likely prefer clay. I have many friends in both camps and I do get complimented on my Tiki Kings often. Get samples! Thanks for watching, good luck.

RunSlagathorRun defintely worth it to buy samples. I found some on ebay. I had my eyes on the Laurel Crown ceramic chips but I got a sample and I really hated the texture so I will not get them. I go with ceramic for cash games and clay for tournament just so it feels familiar like you're in a casino. Try nile club and milano samples to start with.

Custom Cherry wood with tiger maple inlays! But I'd probably just get the the one I show in the video: www.amazon.com/Brybelly-Clear-Acrylic-Trays-Pack-10/dp/B008X9I958/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1502460361&sr=8-3&keywords=poker+chip+trays
