    thank you to make me understand my mistake ! Casino training course almost made me terminate since noone could notice that actually I made hook-cuts instead... Now I can see my error and hopefully I now can fullfill the training course with success ! thank you so much !

    I start training next week, this is a godsend video, as they give us a little run down of this at the induction and it was so hard, I kept doing the hook thing as you mentioned, so I will get some chips out and follow this now and be a step ahead in training!

      Hey there, thanks very much for your comment! Yes, following what I'm showing in this video will give you an advantage--I'm sure of it.
      Word of advice: practice slowly at first, being as patient as you can be. Get the technique right. Speed will come without effort on your part from the flawless technique.
      AND once you have the technique and speed, there will be no limit on quick and precise drop-cutting, picking from a stack, dragging (penicil-off), cutting-into, and so forth. Good luck!

      @@TomaszGoetel Hey man, update to this, been watching and practicing for a few hours and ive completely got it with both hands, its not so difficult once you get past the cramp and pain in your hands haha, now time to try and practice the speed and another amounts of chips! thanks again! BTW this message was really hard to type, my ring and pinky finger are cramping so much haha!

      @@jamieboi11 Sounds good! I'm glad to hear that your hand hurts. Drop the shoulder and elbow, relax the wrist, and soften your hand when roll-cutting. Let the stack feel a bit heavier in your hand. Once you've got the technique, then the speed starts coming, then start cutting without looking.

      @@TomaszGoetel Thanks for your reply! I've heard I should instead pay a casino $20 and get stack of $1 chips to practice with. Do most casinos allow you to take chips home?

    • @TomaszGoetel
      @TomaszGoetel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@michaeliedon6557 Yes, they do. No problem there. Those chips (called "cash chips") would be very good to practice with as they're quite heavy. Go for it! Let me know how it goes.

    Great video, I have been able to get quite proficient in less than a day. I still struggle to get the cut a little though but after its cut I am able to perform the rest quickly. Do you have any tips on how to master the cut?

    • @TomaszGoetel
      @TomaszGoetel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comment. Stick to the ideas, go slow, be a little patient. It sounds like you're doing well. The speed will come later. If your technique is good, speed is guaranteed. At the highest level of competence, you will cut accurately, fast, and make it look easy. Good luck!

    Any tips about spreading?

    • @TomaszGoetel
      @TomaszGoetel  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Are you asking about the spreading of chips/cheques? If yes, then:
      1. Preserve all finger position the same as it should be when holding the stack (forming a cross, as shown in the video above). But the tip of the index finger goes on top of the chips.
      2. When spreading chips, relax your shoulder, wrist, and hand.
      Most difficulties with spreading chips come from poor finger position and too much tension in the wrist.
      I hope this helps you in some way. Thanks for watching my video.
