    Is it ok to lock and pop the knee as she does at the end of each rep

    Thanks for showing and explaining so well, but why does she always “snap” back? Is this not bad for the joints?

      Regarding the 'snap back' of the knees, this motion would be caused by the tempo at which our colleague is moving - in this instance 2:0 (2 seconds down, 0 seconds up). Manipulating tempo allows you to adjust the amount of tension your muscles and tendons are under which helps dictate the desired outcome of the exercise be it endurance or strength.
      With confidence in her lifting technique, there'll be no harm caused to the joint.

      No they were all squats - she kept her chest up and went down with all legs in every scenario. Deadlifts are a back straight and hinge motion at the hips with legs bending a little forcing butt back. These were definitely all squats. Great Video and succinct!
